Hello everyone. I recently reinstalled Final Fantasy XI from PlayOnline's downloadable client since Im looking for the <call5> Sound Effect ( the comedic version the victory fanfare, but the file that originally contained this and the other Call sound effects are no longer on the directory commonly reffered to online ( \sound\win\se\se000\ ). Could you please guide me to find these files on the updated version of the game? Many thanks.

I think the snag here is that the .spw format these files seemingly use may be unique to POL/FFXI, so finding some kind of conversion program may be tricky. I know the model viewers could at least play sound effects, so fiddling with those and (re)recording may be able to get what you're after in a more useable format.
For now, I've put the se000 folder up on my personal space in .rar format. Once I know you have it, I'll probably pull it down. On the other hand, if you find some way to play the stuff independently and it's not in there, let me know what you found and I can try to work through the folders.
