Also new in this update are a quest to obtain the all-new aeonic weapons, which are of the same caliber as relic, mythic, and empyrean weapons; rank 7 monster rearing; additional alter egos; and much, much more!

Read on for details!

New Job Point Bonuses since I know some want to more quickly see 'em.

Nothing really noteworthy from the last gifts, just basic stat increases + a 15 minute SP recast reduction for hitting the max 2100 job points. Actually more excited about being able to merit up HP/MP/stats/skills some more.

Nothing really noteworthy from the last set of rhapsody KIs either other than the increase to capacity points instead of experience points, which was expected. I guess Escha/Reisenjima brews for 11 million escha silt is a thing, but as it is I've done quite a lot of grinding in Escha (still nothing compared to what others have done I'm sure) and I've yet to make even 1 million silt. Unless they are vastly upping the rate of acquisition on the silt somehow, it will be so long before I get to brew even one thing that it's a feature they might as well not have added. Grinding cruor was quite a bit easier than this; I've probably accumulated at least 40-50 million cruor or so when you take into account everything I've spent on brews and atmacites (I'm still carrying about 10 million left that will probably never get used, not even Rani warrants brews anymore and thanks to the rhapsody additions, I actually took the time to upgrade every atmacite to max... even the crappy worthless ones, just for shiggles and gits)

Yeah, barring some kind of curveball or future mini-update, I wouldn't expect brews to be a common thing. Otherwise, kinda looks like the new area has Skirmish-like sets you can augment. Hopefully those are interesting.

"Skirmish" and "augments" are two words I never want to see together in a sentence ever again.

Thanks. I'm assuming that there will be no more gifts with the "Master" title.

Probably not. As is, I'd say it's a pretty steep grind if you have any interest in multiple jobs. Though, that's probably why this back half seems somewhat underwhelming, too.

It's steep alright. I'm discouraged to play as much out of fear that the game will end before I get remotely close to the end.

The amount of pets that can be active in a single area has been increased.

What does this mean?

There's a set maximum number of types of NPCs that can be active in a zone at any given time.

They did this same thing for treasure boxes back when Abyssea was popular. People would kill a mob, see a red box pop, ignore it and continue killing. With enough people doing this, eventually you hit the cap, and no more boxes in the zone will pop until the existing ones despawn. The same rule applies to pets.
