So I was going through some old files on my hard drives and came across old notes from FFXI on runs and drops and tanking issues and ideas, and I got to thinking about old friends, and the good times and the bad times. So this is a shot in the dark, but I was wondering how many of the old gang were still trolling this forum.

I was on the Ifrit server, a member of the PLD Link shell KJ, and Mystical Phoenix LS.
Character: Wolfsblade level 75 PLD.

I am currently playing on Fenrir. I played from 06 to 11 and now I'm back. Right now I'm flying solo, but If I build myself up enough I join a group.

I've played on and off since 2002. I'm currently playing on asura madelinea
I have never stopped my sub from the first day I started, too many years to even recall the exact date.
I will not give up this game unless it eventually shuts down.
Although I rarely play, every meaningful and true friend no longer plays ,so its solo or nothing for me :) which is also ok!
I do recognize and admit that for me, it is only nostalgia that lures me to stay, memories of some very dear people and the fun we had ae simply too strong to let it go. Maybe its a character fault, but I just cant and will not hit that cancel button.
The game gave me a feeling I cant duplicate in any other game since ffxi was my first mmo...therefore was very impressionable and not replaceable.
ffxi ♥ (for all its faults I am still very glad it is here)
