You made a mistake under the 60-70 Sea Serpent Grotto part, or missed a title.

Camp: Basement Tunnel
PT Lv49-51 - Enemy: Funnel Bats
PT Lv50-52 - Enemy: Champer Beetle

As I discovered last night, these are very doable around 46 with a NIN tank, but the EXP is as slow as all you know what. Mainly because of the Beetles defense and the Bats Evasion. Just be careful here.

Abraxas also seem to drop Wind Crystals. I would've thought Light given my VoS experience, but I walked out of a manaburn the other night with about 4 stacks of Wind.

Fixed some spelling and minor other edits.

Added {CoP Access} to areas that need Chains of Promathia Expansion Pack to level in.

Yes, what you've heard is true. FFXI's endgame is just a giant E-peen swinging contest, with the majority of time spent standing around, and watching Moon-faced nerds "compare" video game "accomplishments" with each other via flame-wars on forums/in-game.

Nice work on the guide, but no offense, I hate guides like this. It discourages exploration and makes everyone level in the same spots. I suppose a positive would be that this guide is pretty comprehensive, it still discourages people from trying new things.

Awesome guide. I just have issue with one thing.

Quote:
6) How are we getting back? (Bring a Black Mage - Or Instant Warps/Warp Cudgel)
Don't rely on a BLM to get you back. A party that starts with a BLM won't necessarily end with a BLM, or even a WHM who can tele your party to a less hostile location.

Very Nice post!

There is one error that I see with it.

Quote:
Carpenter's Landing{CoP Access}

Camp: N. Sandy Zone
PT Lv23-25 - Enemy: Wasps
PT Lv23-25 - Enemy: Beetles

Those mobs are EP and DC to a level 20 (spent a lot of time in the zone getting BST to 20). This zone is a GREAT alternative for parties up to about 15 or 16 (moving to Pugs later). Definitely not worth it at 23-25.

Now the Central and South landing can used in the mid 20s however the North landing should be a pre-20 camp.

One other note: you mention "2nd Tier Gobs" when it should be 3rd tier on some posts.

EDIT: I checked Somepage's mob listing and adjusted my suggested range.

I have something you can add.

Camp: Uleguerand Range. Tunnel Exit (J-5)
PT Lv73-75 - Enemy: Molech
PT Lv73-75 - Enemy: Kindred Demon (BLM/DRK/WAR/SMN)
PT Lv73-75 - Enemy: Smolenkos
Details: Molech's are true sight, and link with Demons. SMN's Dark Elemental can't be slept. Level 5 Petrify will only land on 75's, prepare for it accordingly.

great post :)

Sanctuary of Zi'tah additions (tested):

lv36-lv39 Outpost: Flies, Gobs, Funguars
stay close to outpost, lots of pops and aggro around the area

lv39-lv42 Ro Maeve zone: Coeurls, Bones, Hounds
ride choco all the way, if you want to run home, lol, will need sneak/invis to get out of there. Don't use magic in Ro Maeve if you zone, magic aggro
