Anyone else having this problem? :: Final Fantasy XI

I have not experienced the R0 problem before. So this is not another of those threads really. I just downloaded the update no problem and could play as normal. But then something happened and I R0'd on the Selbina ferry. It was a problem at my side though as I DCed from the internet totally.

So I reset my connection and tried to get back in game. I get onto PoL OK and then try to get onto FFXI. It hits the point of "Acquiring player data" and then just gets stuck. I wait and I wait and then it times out. Nothing I do seems to get me past this part.

I'm worried that something may have gone seriously wrong. I was on the ferry when I DCed. So by the time I try to get back in game the ferry won't be there.... my charcter will need to be put in either Mhaura or Selbina. But the game can't find my charater data. >.<

Just a hunch, but chances are the zone you were "pushed" to when you lost connection is also one that is now giving you a R0 issue.

I hade that problem sunday! Mine went away yesterday... but now it freezes at 'Retreiving Mail Account'...

i'm having your same exact problem
i had the R0 problem right after the update maintence and now im having no problems with it

after todays maintence i loged on fine, i get a pt and go off to camp
i get dc'ed of the internet totally
and when i came back
i cant get passed the server data
and get error 3113 >.>

----- i got it fixed, i restarted my router and it was all good again

I'm having the same problem right now -_-;

After got off Airship from Jeuno i get R0. It keep saying downloading data...
Now im stuck in Portsandy, nothing load so i cant talk to npc to get out and no airship to get back ><;
After 30sec i got error code FFXI-4001 message.

I ve been trying to call, email, chat request to POL, it took them forever to respond.
And finally got a message from them, they said:
"all of our servers are up, and theres no connection problem please try relogg again later."
I tried to relogg million times and reinstall the game 2times took me 2day just to get the updates done. ;_;
nothing works...

Best wish, hope they found the problem and fix it soon.
