Credit for the screenshots go to Estya of Ramuh or StarvingArtist from Dreams in Vana'diel. He e-mailed me on Monday asking if I could help him pull off an April Fool's joke and attached the screens you saw. We thought they looked convincing enough to cause waves and boy did we get them! Smiley: lol Myself, Vlorsutes, and Thayos all helped write the article. We gave Estya a month of free premium for the idea and material.

The story made it to Google News and got some diggs. I dunno where else they started popping up, but we found it amusing.

In my defense, it IS my birthday, so it would be kinda mean to kill me today!

Wow, the lore they'll have available to them in this world will be amazing, considering they've already started establishing it over the course of FF Tactics and FF12. I want to be a Viera so bad!

Nice. Seriously had me there for a minute; I was about ready to start messaging people and then remembered "Oh, yeah, April 1st is in 2 hours."

Edit: Unless it's a double-bluff April Fools. They could be real screenshots posted today to look fake, so the joke would be that we'd not believe it.

It would be so nice if "Rapture" is in fact set in Ivalice.

The biggest problem I see, with the screenshots that is, is the fact that those Chocobo are exactly the same as the Chocobo's in XI.

With this Crystal Tools thing, it can be assumed that the graphics would be far greater then a game they had worked on 5 years ago.

The Picture with the Moogle and Viera also looks like it's in Meriphitaud mountains, and the Viera alone on a Chocobo looks like its in Valkurm/Teriggan...

I hope thats not the case, but its certainly looking like it is.

Don't forget that it is being shown only here, with non-HQ images. It's probably fake, but kudos if it isn't. It's one nice shop job if it is.
