They will all be difficult. This game is slowly shifting towards being almost non-noob friendly altogether.

With that in mind, just close your eyes and pick one. Odds are it will not have any significant impact.

You should try Siren since that's where all the win in this game hangs out. Smiley: nod

If you know anyone who plays go there. Otherwise, just randomly pick, it will make no difference.

If nothing else, you are welcome to come to Lakshmi and I'd be happy to help you get started and introduce to some good people. Best of luck.

For what it is worth, I still see noobs daily on Fairy. The Dunes are always full of low level players, and I even still get random /tells from noobs asking me to PL them - /sigh, ah the consequences of being a RDM with a name beginning with A.

You can look here and get a feel for activity and probably ask about a shell to join so your first few days aren't a nightmare trying to figure out where to go or do.

Having a good shell with helpful people is the first step to success in FFXI.

Good luck to you!

Any server in the game World of Warcraft will be extremely noob friendly.

Joke aside, newb and noob are not the same thing. Most servers have friendly people willing to help new players ease into this wonderful game. Welcome to the game, enjoy your days in Vana'diel.

To be honest, I see a lot of people say that it is hard to get low level parties. Consequently, newcomers often think that they will have difficulty getting a party.

I have leved 3 jobs to 75 in the last 6 months or so, and hardly ever had problems getting a party. This is on Kujata, where it seems we are not one of the most popular servers.

My recommendation - doesn't matter where you go. As someone else mentioned, if you know anyone who play's, go to their server so they can show you the basics. Once you get into exp pt's, learn about the setup's and when comfortable, make your own party. 95% of the time I make my own, and I hardly ever wait. I have been playing for less than two years and have 5 75's - The first one took me 6 months, so you do the math after that.

Regards,
Knoc

I see alot of new players in Sylph every day, and we're not very populated
(1200-2400 people online during the week) and I have plenty of level one jobs that I could help you level with.

every server is noob friendly depending on what kinda noob you are. if youre the kind that will listen too and take advice given to you (i.e take time of from lvling to make gil to keep your equipment and weapons updated, have the proper subjob lvled and have it lvled properly war30/5mnk5 no thanks, war30/mnk15 yes please), then any server is a noob friendly server.

if youre one of those noobs that insist on being lvl 20-30 still wearing lvl1 or 10 gear, with no earrings and an exp ring on full time, and running around as war/whm and rdm/smn despite a million people telling you otherwise, then NO server is gonna be a noob friendly server, in fact id suggest you just not play at all if thats gonna be the case.
