A lot of great things on the horizon, Fan Fest this weekend, and most importantly, everyone's avatar will be dressed in gold =D How do you plan to spend your weekend?

My goals:

1. Big garage sale this weekend. Enough toys to supply every child in Zimbabwe. 7am - 4pm, then immediately to coil t6-t8 where I hope to get blm or bard ring, and bard belt. If I can get all three, I will cap bard and blm. If not, follow through with the plan to spend soldiery, and get both to 109 at least before patch. Then prepare for lots of changes around patch time.

2. Cap the rest of soldiery. Currently at 611 / 2000 light. I gotta get moving on that.

3. Still need to grab something from ST, like a sands of time or something

Not too much again this weekend..
I am going to be working on Black Smith.
Probably put in sometime on my lights.
Those two are probably my main concern right now..
I need my ST drop.
Still trying to make money for a house.

Still concentrating on MNK mostly:

1. Cap soldiery and next week spend it on legs.
2. Spend some time in Hunts and try to get a Sand to go with those legs.
3. Keep gathering Myth and pumping out relic Books.

And run some more new dungeons and trials, keep pushing the storyline forward, and whatever else looks like fun.

Was tired as crap after running my garage sale, but managed to trudge along for 5... long.... hours of coil right afterwards. A ridiculous 3.5 hours on T7 Smiley: dubious, 30 minutes combined on a 1 shot T6 and T8 Smiley: oyvey, and about 1.5 hours on T9 trying a 1 tank strat, before the leader finally resigned to go back to the old method and we got to divebombs twice in a row. No bard gear, but did get blm boots. Sunday was scrapped for me because sitting outside all day in a temperature range of freezing to hot and dealing with random people netted me some really good cash and a 24 hour flu.

Soldiery capped. At 628 / 2000 light. Got a newborn star off of the only syrcus tower I ran. Pretty cool! Smiley: grin 100% guarantee that I will instaqueue everything on tank post 2.4 and be dealing with dual ninja dps in every dungeon. Smiley: rolleyes I'm gonna get the light up there pretty fast I think. I'll get ninja to 50, but I don't know if I'll endgame it. Depends on how it plays. Right now, I'm more excited about the expansion next spring. New jobs, level cap increase, and a new playable race, its really going to really shake things up. Smiley: nod I am still praying for blue mage.

Ended up with an oil. Stockpiling sands and oils from ST and coil in preparation for 2.4, when soldiery becomes the new myth, and I will have a boatload of weathered stuff that suddenly needs unweathering. Still using allied seals for ventures as opposed to sands. But seeing as I have more than 7 of every new dye except gold (still no gold drop), I may cut back to 2 retainers on quick ventures to save a bit. I should send out the miner and botanist on XIV field ventures now that they can actually go... might get the mine cart pet.

Didn't get a whole lot done.
Blacksmith for me stinks. I thought it was going to be a easy level since I already had ARM and GSM. It requires too much Carpentry and leather crafting.. Neither I have except low level...

Got my ST drop.
Got a level in lights.
Didn't make very much money because our servers was dead except for new people...
Was this a free log on weekend? Almost more new people than existing players.
Anyway hard to sell anything.. Ores were selling ok in small quantities but not much money made there.

I'm back home from Fan Fest!

I don't know what I want to do this week. Maybe another level on bard?

How was it? You beat Odin?
#8 Oct 21 2014 at 12:49 PM Rating: Excellent
Beat Odin, got the T-shirt Smiley: grin That fight is 100% pure DPS check, which is fine for a BLM with a Flare addiction.

Only stamp I didn't get was "winning team at Frontlines" because my FL groups were always full of derp. Smiley: glare Got my primal roulette clear through an accident - I'll tell you about that in the FC sometime. (Lahurah legitimately won Garuda Ex, which is amazing considering she's not even on HM in the game. That girl can MNK!)

Impressive Lahurah! Btw, I heard that Einherjar could be silenced, making for an easy win.

Yeah it could, but it had a fairly short cast time, so you needed tanks and bards on point to do it.

Winning set is PLD WAR BRD LNC MNK BLM SCH WHM. One of each. Have the WAR act as DPS off tank, and have the SCH DPS as well. A single WHM can handle it, so if it ever makes it into the game, probably go in as 1 tank 1 healer x6 DPS.

Oh Hey. I forgot to list these.

For Vanguard: (our raid force)
Ifrit Ex was downed and declared 'On Farm' on our first night. We actually had to tone down our DPS to not murderer our poor tanks. ^^;

For Vanguard Ops: (this is when vanguard brings in players in our alliance to help them get clears/items, for free, no mercing.)

3 More Twintania Wins before any changes this 2.4. Three more people past the gate! Bow, BLM Wand and Spear dropped. 2/3 went to our guests.
