Yeah I price everything 25 dollars higher then what I expect (or 50 dollars higher) but I wasnt getting any calls when i had the tv listed at 500.

I had one guy call asking if I would sell the TV separately. I said sure and when he asked how much I told him 450, that pretty much I was selling everything together to get it out of the apt and becuase I was moving and I was throwing in the Stand/Soundbar for free. He's like good luck with that, Im told him good luck trying to find a 800 tv for cheaper with a free stand/soundbar.

Funny part while I was editing this an email popped up Newegg:6 hours only 42 inch LG LED 60hz $440. /facepalm

That would be because it's not a reputable brand. I wouldn't own one. All that being said, people on Craigslist are pretty flaky. They also don't read the ad very well before asking about what you're selling.

Yeah I know I thought of that when I bought it til I looked up and read that its a Rebranded LG tv, pretty much LG sold them their old internal boards and stuff and they slapped an Insignia tag on it. I could link the reviews I read about it and Its like 50 5 star 35 4 star like 14 2 or 3 stars and like 7 one star. And the one stars are stupid, "It doesnt look good with 480 no matter the settings I use" Well duh its 480, and even then I think standard Def looks fine on it.

Actually doing my research on the TV I found out that alot of "No name" Brands do this, they buy last seasons parts from the big guys toss them in a tv with their logo on it and ship it out.

Idk I just needed to vent.

As for you never owning one I thought the same thing until I saw the picture on it. The ONLY TV I saw at Best Buy/ Walmart/ Target that looked better was a Samsung Aqous and they wanted something like 1200 for the same size in 120hz. If I could magically poof up 400 dollars I wouldnt sell this Tv cause I love the picture (I often use it as a 2nd monitor; extended or duplicate) and it look 50% better then my 23 inch Acer LED monitor. The colors are way more vibrant, and the lines are way crisper (120Hz is awesome too). I'm not trying to convert anyone cause the tvs they may have out now are ****. Kind of like Sony used to be "the brand" and now its Samsung and most Sony stuff is crap (Their Tvs suck now the picture always looks grainy or fuzzy on every sony I've seen)

Aquos is made by Sharp, not Samsung. I've owned one, and it was a great TV until the inverter board went out. I have plans to replace the board and fix the TV, but I bought a new one in the meantime anyway.

Insignia is owned by Westinghouse/Siemens. What little bit of googling I did, and I'll admit it wasn't much as I have no dog in this fight, they have about a 40% failure rate. That's high...for any brand.

Oh yeah you're right Sharp, I have Samsung on the mind for some reason. And yeah I'll admit as a mentioned in the post most of their TVs may be crap, I saw this one and did research on it thats how I know it was made with LG parts (since they leave the serial numbers on the boards in the tv). I understand Brand awareness and all that stuff but like cars some may come from the same factory but be completely different, and like I said its still under warranty so its not like there isn't a safety net :P Besides most numbers on the internet cant be trusted. Like at one time I could have said the Xbox 360 had a 40% failure rate and depending on my sample size or where I was getting that info it could be right but not show the overall picture. Besides it's not like almost all tvs are made by the same few factories in Tiawan/China. I mean look at Foxcon it makes Ipods/Ipads/PS3/ Wii-U/Kindles/and parts for Xbox360's. Most of those are competing "Brands" with each other and manufactured by the same people.

So I have a question, why are people on Criagslist so damn cheap? We cant take everything so were selling some bigger items on criagslist. One is a 46 inch 120Hz 1080p LED Superslim tv, I have it mounted on one of those floating tv stands (Glass/wood) and a RCA soundbar with it. I paid about 800 for everything , Bought the tv on sale, and did research on what the TV looks like before buying it. Also the TV is only 6 months old so it still have a 1 1/2 year factory warranty.

My asking Price is 450, and im being firm on it, since if you wanted to buy everything by itself it would be close to a grand.

I have barely got any emails or calls and all the calls/emails/texts say What brand Model is it, when i say Insignia they never respond. Even if I explain I researched TVS before buying and this TV has one of the best pictures Ive ever seen outside of a Samsung Aqous. I even link to the Bestbuy website that has like 10 reviews all at 5 ish stars, everyone says the picture is beautiful but sound is lacking (This is why I have a soundbar)

I mean I paid 600 for the tv (was 199 off) 125 for the tv stand and 50 for the soundbar. Am I the one overpricing this stuff or am I just crazy and thinking people are stupid not to grab this deal?

Sorry to rant but I had to repost a few things on Craigslist again and I'm getting frustrated.

Here's the thing about TVs. They drop in value fast. Much faster than anyone is comfortable with. In a 9 mo. span the pricing of a 1500 new tv drops to roughly 600-700 (used). Your TV is worth roughly 250-300 ish based on condition, the addons don't depreciate as rapidly, but still should be discounted for sale on craigslist, 30% off new or so, this is assuming they want them.

Interesting read but
http://www.dealzon.com/deals/insignia-ns-46e481a13-46-inch-led-hdtv

The cheapest the TV has been as of March 8th 2013 is $550, 30% of that is 385. So yes Im a litte higher but that can cover the Entertainment stand and Soundbar AND 6 month warranty(may be longer since every picture I see of it says 2 year warranty) for free.

3 months ago it was on sale for $430 at bestbuy. http://www.dealmoon.com/Insignia-NS-46E481A13-46-inch-LED-1080p-120Hz-HDTV/214454.html

Currently 550 at bestbuy, and as it looks like they list it at -199 each time they have a sale, so ~350; at 30% markdown that'd be $245, which is more or less in the window I quoted. Since it's not currently on sale, the 250-300ish range seems valid, although the 300-400 range might not be out of the ballpark.

Ensure that the people offering actually want the auxiliary equipment, they are probably looking at it as mostly a TV + a bonus rather than a full valuation.

Oh, and the 550 offer on bestbuy is highballing it incredibly, because they are using it to sell the 55 inch version for the same price, and the 50 inch for $50 cheaper.

After a bit of poking around, I found the 46 inch for 399 new. which would put it at ~280 used.

TV pricing really does change that fast.

Ok I didnt see that deal for 430 /shrug. Dealzon usually has the latest deals on tv's (or shows what the last price was) Also how did you find the TV at the Bestbuy site I've been trying and the model number never pulls up anything :s and every link I've tried says they no longer carry it. (Ahh i see you linked the 14, I have the 13 It has 4 HDMI vs 3 HDMI)

As for them wanting the aux equipment they dont really get a choice the TV is mounted and I dont have the tools to remove the brackets that hold it up, as for the other stuff No one wants to buy a tv stand separately thats why im tossing it in there and the soundbar is well a soundbar. Super Slim LED TV's usually have crap speakers anyway.

Well, hopefully you can move it quickly. It's depreciating roughly $5 a day.

Whack, huh?

Btw that Dealmoon site is messed up says the Tv is $399 then links to a page with it being $449 :P Also Now that I look at it your linking to a 60hz tv not a 120hz

The 50 inch is a good deal though if the picture is as nice as the one i have.

Yeah they had it listed for 399 last month, and that was the closest analogue. Like i said, they are currently using the presence of the 46 inch to upsell customers to the 50/55in at the moment, because they need to move those.

Also I guess I should post this on my Criaglist listing too. Also that 55 would like like crap next to the 46/50 inch its only a 5000:1 contrast ratio vs 10,000:1 On mine and the 50 inch.

huh, something interesting that I noticed on their 'est operating costs' it does not include the largest expense; the energy consumption is dwarfed by the depreciation until the model is ~2-3 years old.

Sidenote: the 46 in. model i linked has a 30,000:1 contrast ratio.

Considering a store bundle for a PS3 is anywhere from $270-300, I'd say you should price it lower. Sure, it comes with a lot of extras and games, but it also doesn't come with a warranty. And few of the games that are included would appeal to a wide audience - jrpg players are already more likely to own a PS3 in the first place.

The fact that it's already quite old isn't going to help matters.

I would price that at $250, hope for $200, and be ready to accept $150.
