Also, the pricing on the Groupees bundles is static. You can get into the $1 or $5 tier at any time so you can wait for the hidden games to be revealed before deciding or see if your reward tier is unlocked. No getting stuck with a rising minimum purchase level.

So I cancelled it and just did anther transaction for 10 dollars and it went though instantly. The CS guy said oh it should go back right away, or in 3 days. Heres day 3, My Skrill account, Gamersgate account OR my card have not gotten a refund. So Not happy

Call the CS again and see what they say. If they say another three days then call your credit card company and let them know.

Demand 20% off everything!

Seriously though, that sucks. I've been fortunate so far in that for all my purchases, my sole hang-up was on the big Bethesda fiasco (and that was sort of to be expected). So it's always disappointing to hear that someone is having issues with GG, GMG or the rest of 'em.

I dont have a way to call international, and they dont have a Phone number listed I see just a ticket system, and I cant call the credit card company cause its a Prepaid Online gift card I won from Camel for 50 dollars. -.-

I'm just trying to keep my cool, I kind of ripped them a new one last week because I waited so long before I got a response. I emailed the CS that spoke to me last week, he said he couldn't access the payment system and forwarded the ticket to a senior CS (this was last week). Hopefully he gets back to me soon. Honestly they should give me the 20% off on my account, I mean this all started on the 9th when I made my original ticket, its still open and pending on the 14th. That's seriously bad CS there.

Origin "Mystery" deal this week is supposed to be Crysis, Dead Space 2, and Battlefield 3, but when you add them to your cart to reveal price, it shows up at full price. $19.99 for each game, $59.97 total. No deal is actually registered. Not sure what it is supposed to be, 50%, 66%, or 75%... but it seems broken.

At that Mystery deal look at your Subtotal, Mine says 15 Dollars for Crysis, DS2, and BF3. Its kind of setup weird it says Price in one column and total price in another, The Price shows normal price the total price show how much you would pay. I think

Screenshot

Edit: Removing any game breaks the deal so its only 75% off if you buy all 3(4)

No, it was broken for me when I posted it, instead of 19.00 and 5.00 per item and a 15 dollar total, it said 19.00 and 19.00 per item, and 59.97 total.

I had previously purchased the weekly deals so I already knew about the "all or no deal" deal.

Huh weird. Im trying to decide whether I should buy the DA Complete from GG or wait til they refund my 10 dollars before spending more -.- No reply to my email again.

Also I got wonderful news my truck that I was going to drive cross country, well the driverside upper and lower ball joints decided they wont have any of that and started to go, the sway bar (driver side) said F-that and just snapped. So Now I need 750 to replace upper/lower balljoints + replace sway bar + replace 1 tire (I have a brand new full size spare) because of the ball joints going its wore all the tread off on the inside part of the tire, AND I need an alignment.

If I didnt have bad luck I would have no luck at all -.-

(Ps anyone wanna buy a 99 Ford Explorer 4x4 with 175k miles -.-, so I can now spend way to much on plane tickets and shipping all my crap cross country -.-)

There's a decent enough chance that you can find a flight for dirt cheap. The shipping costs are what would kill you.

For some reason 1 way ticket for 1 person = 205 one way ticket same flight for 2 people 265 per ticket. Stupid confusing.

Actually after some sleuthing last night on the intarwebs, I think I may be able to fix all of it myself, if i can find a friend with the tools. It doesnt look hard its a total of like 20 bolts. The hardest part would be getting the lower ball joint into the hole and thats about it for difficulty (Google Ford Explorer Ball joint replacement) , there is a few youtube videos showing how to do it and sway bar it like 2 bolts thats it. its stupid simple. Then I would only have to get an alignment (I could do it myself but f that it takes way to long) Im trying to find a friend with a the tool that pops the ball joints apart pretty much, The tool to seat the lower ball joint is also a problem but maybe someone with have one.

Mid-week is the best time to fly on the cheap, and the afternoon before the actual flight day is the best time to buy. And the more flexible you can be, the better the price you can expect. Flights drop to their lowest point shortly before the flight, than jump back up for the desperate passengers.

The reason multiple seats is sold at a higher price is because airlines price each ticket in a group the same, so you have to pay the higher price even if you are purchasing cheaper seats. Book separately.

Is there a small time window you absolutely have to be there in? The wider that window, the better the price you'll get.

Also, I might as well point out that flying could actually end up way cheaper than driving cross-country on a beat-up truck. I mean, you're going to be paying hundreds and hundreds in cash anyway. Selling the truck might cover your shipping charges, and flying might be less than gas.

Its a toss up according to my calculations if my truck gets 16MPG (its supposed to get 18-19 according to records online) and gas is 4 dollars a gallon it would cost like 488.xx in gas and take 37 hours with 6 1/2 hours worth of breaks. Add in the cost of Parts to fix the truck and food/lodging (Im so not driving 30 hours straight) comes out to roughly 700 ish, and Ill have a vehicle out there.

Plane tickets looking at around 205 per person if i get em for this weekend (Dont ask me why the Sat tickets are cheaper then all the rest) From Milwaukee to Seattle so 405 there, add in 80 dollars for 2 suitcases each. Only 1 lay over for 30 mins so really no time to eat. Sending my PC + 2 monitors + other non clothes items = 200 ish(to stay safe), and cost of paying a friend for a ride to the airpost about about 750 but then if i sell the truck for $1100 (Which I want) since even with the ball joints/sway bars issue it still Bluebooks as $2100.

I put the truck up on Craigslist last night before considering repairing it myself (I was quoted 750 dollars parts and labor and I automatically went to despair) Ive had about 30 calls/emails/Txt. A bunch of them wanted to low ball me "Ill give you 600 because after fixing it up Ill only be able to sell it for 1200", which after seeing cost of parts and the low skill required to fix it, is complete BS. I changed the Listing saying I was firm @1100. I have a few VM's this morning I haven't listened to yet.

Selling the truck give me more cash out there, but limits my ability to go places w/o taking the bus. Fixing the truck gives me little money to start out there but the ability to run to the store, drive myself to school/jobs, etc

At this time Im partially unsure myself which is the better course of action. Also Gamersgate really really needs to get back to me, I completely forgot to buy that DA bundle yesterday because of all this truck bs -.-

On the bright side, that DA bundle seems to go on sale all the time between Gamefly, GamersGate, Amazon, Impulse, etc.

I feel for ya buddy. I checked in and it seems William Shatner has taken over the thread, and its now the Omnibus Priceline Deals thread . . .

aaaand I missed the BF3 deal. But the good news is that I didn't miss a Borderlands deal! . . . there weren't any.

I think my circadian clock is off.

Amazon is supposed to have Xcom:EU for $10 towards the end of May. Probably/possibly part of the forementioned May-ham sale.

I keep feeling like I should get ME 3, just to finish up the trilogy.

I just can't summon the willpower to care. It's weird, because I liked ME 2 a lot. I don't get it.

It was a great game. Maybe not the best ending, but easily one of the most consistently high gaming experiences I've ever had. The whole game is epic, and the ending isn't even nearly as meh now that they released the extended ending DLC.

And the multiplayer is very fun, and low stress (groups vs. mobs, so it's not ridiculously competitive).

Considering you can get it dirt-cheap, I say go for it.

I don't know which I liked more: ME2 or ME3. But both were great games. They both tend to do different things incredibly well. But unlike the DA series, it's not an all-or-nothing situation. What one does amazingly well, the other generally still excels at.

Rift is going F2P you may have read, with some pretty nice rewards for being a previous member while it was paid. Thanks to Raptr you can get around that little detail. If you hadn't played it before you can still qualify since the game is a free trial up to level 15 or 20 (I don't recall), then just get in the # of hours you need to claim the reward on Raptr, which I plan on doing. So don't steal mine.

I think I played enough Rift when it was new. It's not a bad game mind you, the ride is fun. But I found myself grinding dungeons and setting aside 3-4 days a week for progression raiding while grinding rank for the next PvP set. Then I went oh yeah, F that.

I never made it to endgame, or even close. Back in the beta I thought about subbing when it went live, but was too busy in EQ2 at that time to really care. Then the Lite version came out and reinstalled it only to feel overwhelmed and stuck at whatever level didn't help.

I mainly chatted with my 2 friends who play. Which is what I'll do again I guess.
