Faction doesn't really matter anymore. You can group/guild cross-faction now, and the expansion zones have a shared main city.

BTW Im Dling if anyone wants in Let someone refer you, you get Bonus Xp til 20 Summon ability and some other perks. I had KT refer me, Also if you refer 3 people that pay for a month you get a mount.

Its a shame i cant transfer my defiant warrior over to faeblight. maybe when the server equalizes. /shrug
I logged in and made a character, I remember why I wasnt impressed in Beta, the game even on Ultra looks bland and kind of generic. I know the rifts/mechanics arent but yeah :s But im in a grindy mood wth
Anyone setting odds on how long we're gonna keep playing this one? And are the dresses pretty enough for me to download this?
I played for about the first 5-6 months of the game's life. It was fun, but our raiding guild collapsed and I got rid of my character. I keep thinking I would love to go back again, I loved some of the mechanics (and really loved the tanking rogue class), but now I'm back to raiding in WoW and I don't want to have 2 MMOs going at once :(. If I could get back my old character I'd more heavily consider it, but at this point that's not an option :(.

Ultra doesnt turn up everything though (ground clutter, AA, terrain distance, etc), but tbh Rift isnt very well optimized and my computer cant run it for crap on maxed out settings.

Yeah that was a fun time (even though i wasnt really part of the 'core group'), I knew I'd be back to play more Rift after I left. I tried playing my warrior (Bamf) again but after all the balancing and stuff, i had all my roles wiped and had no idea how to play him anymore, heh.

The dresses arent pretty enough to warrant a download. The best part of this game, IMO, is leveling up on a busy server, and the servers are pretty busy now. The rift events can be cool when there are raids hunting them down and they add a little random variety to leveling up.
The class system lets you switch between your multiple specs (roles) on the fly. So if a fight needs a little extra healing the rogue can switch from melee/range damage to bard in the middle of an instance. Or just easily switch between your group and solo builds.
Also theres housing but i know nothing about it.
For the most part though it feels a lot like WoW.
Honestly the main thing I liked about it is the rogue class had more than just damage specs. The tank spec and support spec (minor healing with buffs) were both just as fun as the dps specs.

I hear ya. I have no idea why I havent made a rogue yet in that game, they seemed to have the most options. Working on a cleric now.

I kinda played this to death when it launched. Got to the endgame, raided some, pvped up to rank 5 ish. I really liked my rogue and the combos of souls available but I don't think I will be back. Gonna tool around in Neverwinter until Steam summer sale.

Im making a character on Feablight or w/e Problem is last night i logged in as a guest and made a toon and thought it was my account but its separate or something So now that name is taken.
