The upcoming Community choice; Dishonored 66% off, Borderlands 2 66% off, Farcry 3 40% off

I really want FC3 but 24.00 is too much give me 15.99 or less or give me nothing!

Also Im semi tempted by Defiance but with FF14 coming and others I have no room for another MMO at the time

Not on Steam though and some people are weird about that. Even weirder with Ubi games since they make you go through a Uplay shell client thingie anyway.

Also Im looking througth the smaller stuff for non frontpage deals, Ill edit in anything I find interesting:

Rock of Ages 80% off 1.99 - I Have this for PS3 its a cute tower defense/ rolling puzzler(Hard to explain) you might enjoy it, its a bit short but for 1.99
Critter Crunch 79% off 1.46 - Another cute puzzler again I have it for PS3
Bard's Tale 75% off 2.49 - Hilarious Top down Light RPG, terrible port but the humor is great.

Ok Nevermind there is 1100 Deals just in 'Action' and at 10 per page F that noise.

I've no idea if it actually hit $16 yet but I know the lowest prices for it haven't been on Steam.

The "Mystery Cards" thing proved to be lame but at least I sold mine for 3x what I paid for them so yay for free GabeN funbux.

Even if you use paypal my bank would lock my card from any overseas charge. Some banks dont allow over seas charges and sites like GMG just plain old dont work. That Nuuvem is one that made me have to call my bank to unlock my card. Ive tried getting thyem to whitelist the sites but they refuse.

Good tips on Lifehacker regarding the Summer Sale, which may or may not be starting today.

Particularly the wishlist one, and the Enhanced Steam plugin (which will check, from your browser, what games/DLC you have as you go along). I'm going to go ahead and take care of both of those now.

So, what are people hoping to see?

I'll be watching for the Skyrim DLC. Whether that's in the form of the Legendary Edition or a la carte, dunno. Dishonored, Jade Empire, Legend of Grimrock, Farcry 3, Evoland are some others I'll be watching.

Cool article. Had me looking around a lot more than the main page. I like the tips on when to buy. I'm going to build my wishlist tonight after work. I don't need anything on the flash sale so I should be safe until then. I'll probably pick up some of the dailies like Call of Juarez and Don't Starve which both look fun.

Also tempted by Defiance. Spend 13 bux now when I am about to have a glut of games to play and I am still into my 2 free level 40ish toons in Neverwinter? Or wait until Defiance goes FTP in a couple of months like all MMO's do now?

I might just snag it to get full features and not be gimped into a cash shop for extra bank space, respecs, character slots and the like. I have done really good not spending a dime on Neverwinter so far but I know they will get me for a respec token soon if I go much higher heh. Freemium can be a bish.

Works for me too. Y'all should bank with BMO. Apparently the Canadians know more about banking than Americans do (shocker!).

So the question is... do I buy Don't Starve now, or wait to see if it's a flash sale?

I have (had, now) fifteen dollars in the wallet from selling those silly cards, so I used 4.99 of it to pick up Scribblenauts Unlimited. I've been wanting to pick it up for awhile now, and this way it's basically free. I voted for Dishonored for the next sale, it's one of the few games I was hoping to get a good deal on and I can use the rest of my free money to pick it up if it wins.

The other two options aren't even good deals. BL2 was available last week for like $3 more, and it included the season pass. The Farcry deal isn't bad, but I'd be shocked if it doesn't go lower during the sale. Same with a BL2 + SP bundle.

Assuming Steam ever stops crashing, what's the verdict for Bioshock: Infinite? Worth it for $30? I don't think I've bought a game that "expensive" since... I can't even remember Smiley: lol Granted, I do spend a fair amount on DLC. Anyway... worth buying?

Cheaper on GMG right now. $24 with coupon.

It's about 10-12 hours of game play, 2 hours of cut scenes, tells a good story (in my opinion) and has acceptable game play mechanics. If you're happy playing a plot driven game for the plot rather than exceptional shooter mechanics, I think you'd probably find it worth it. I paid about $24 for it and was satisfied.

Obviously, if you buy it, play it and now and not backlog it until it's 75% off with a MSRP drop to $30 Smiley: grin
