It'll look good on those hot female orcs you favor.

EQNext is the biggest favourite for an MMO I'll play, followed by Wildstar so no orcs I think.

I had such high hopes for Wildstar.

Then, as a friend described it, the final character designs "came out looking like the artist was referencing How To Draw Manga Volume 1 the entire time."

I got a beta weekend invite and played maybe 15 minutes. There was absolutely nothing about it that seemed interesting.

Well, scrap that then. I hadn't exactly paid attention to it but what I have seen was interesting.

Was 15 minutes long enough to get to the path-based gameplay stuff? Because so far that seems like what Wildstar is actually about.

[EDIT]

And the final character designs are on their website in the character customization video? Why are we going by word of mouth on that? I'm confused.

No, but I'm done waiting for games to get good. I spent 15 or so minutes going through one of the most generic tutorials and boring areas I've played in a long time. Nothing about the movement or gameplay made me want to give it a few more minutes. The scenery was uninteresting and the intro story was so dull I couldn't have possibly cared any less about it.

Really? That's unfortunate. The intro mission I watched a video of looked like fun.

ESO beta this weekend with the new build, including NPC collision detection and revamped starting section. Just saying, if anyone is still on the fence and curious/considering. Smiley: nod

edited cause I linked the wrong patch notes

Thanks for the info i will have to check to see if i got an invite in my email. Im still on the fence about this game, i just cant get by the controls. Maybe i will have to dig out my old controller and see if that works with my PC. Other than the controls the rest of the game seems decent. If i can find my controller i will play this weekend.

And animal fronted metal bands, because nothing is more metal than having a parrot as a lead singer.
