I think I played for 10 hours yesterday. Smiley: lol The obsession is real, once again.

I still have to clear the Royal Rat Authority and maybe kill the Ancient Dragon, though I usually just let it live. It doesn't give me anything I want, and the fight is just dumb, hacking away at its toes for forever.

I feel pretty much the same way about the ancient dragon. Meh, if I want souls Jeigh is easier.

The boss of this second DLC however is not. I've been learning it and just using the NPC summons so far but phase two is ROUGH in NG+. Lots of OHKO and unblockable. He makes Artorious look like a wuss lol.

I'll get him. And his little dog too. Actually unlike Artorious he has no little dog. But if he did I'd get it. Smiley: madSmiley: laugh

And a big FU goes to the Fume Knight. Who has fallen to thine own hands today solo in NG+. Had to respec to a flyns ring naked build using a rapier 2 handed for the winning solo strat. Then I learned him, oh did I learn him. I can see his moves coming now before he thinks to do them.

Awesome fight of course now that it is defeated I am going to offer my services to the masses. Poke Poke Poke. So much rolling and poking.

So I took a break to indulge in some Sims4. DON'T JUDGE ME! Smiley: lol I needed something shiny and happy as a change of pace.

Got bored with that and decided to try a onebro to keep me occupied since I have beaten all the DLC bosses now. So far so good up to Sentinels in Bastille. They are going to be rough I bet at SL 1.

Looking forward to the next DLC on the 24th. I begrudgingly grew to love DLC 2 as well. It was more fun on NG than NG+ I decided. With all those pre boss gauntlets and gank packs NG just had a better feel to it.

I was going to judge you, but then I realized that I'm replaying Magical Diary right now and decided against it. You got lucky...this time.

I like VN's so my counter judgement is also negated!

In other news it's official I am a nutter. SL1 run done. Just beat Nashandra. Started with mace and switched to the amazing stick of poking (Raw Rapier +10) as soon as I could get both work hook (+5 Dex) and Dex ring(+5 Dex) (right near the top of the second DLC).

Raw Light Crossbow (2H) also surprising good at +10. Other things I learned:

Not having adp/agility SUCKS. My roll window she is so short and I am so vulnerable.

Not having much life can also go here. One mistake and splat. Do you even HP bro?

Having tons of souls to spend on consumables is neat. 99 black bombs: check, 99 life gems: check, 99 Various dusts of sparkle weapon: check, 99 poison daggers: many good deal.

Biggest surprises:

The Rotten. Soloing this dude at SL1 shows that he has the potential to be a real prick. Or I was just really drunk. I think it's both.

Velstadt. Hammer gets anywhere near 10 miles of you. You dead.

Nashandra. Getting cursed and one shot by anything she does with almost no HP makes her not as much of a pushover.

PVP: I beat a tanked up greatsword weilding red invader. At SL 1... Fear the poking. (Key is I am light armor and can really push the AR on rapier with Flyns Ring, Ring of Blades, Leo Ring) I think I surprised him a bit.

Aso PVP: Some dude came into undead graveyard and invaded me while I was using mace to clear the gauntlet to preserve my rapier for the boss. Mace is terribad for pvp. Never gonna hit anyone with it's range. I tried, I gave him my best but I think he felt bad when he saw my onebro related name. Because he dropped me 62 Human Effigy after. Faith in Humanity= + 62

I'd like to think I will not attempt the surely masochistic DLC at SL1, but I probally will.

DLC 3 was probably my favorite. Right up unto the challenge route. ***** all bronies forever. I'm just kind of trying it every so often to see if I make it with the hope of despawning the evil reindeer.

Spoiler: I must admit having the 3 helm never go hollow bonus thing is pretty useful. Human effigy? Dun need it.

I didn't know that was a thing. That's pretty cool.

My roommates bought all the DLC, so I'll get around to playing them as soon as I feel like playing that more than Diablo 3. Since I enjoy the heck out of that game for short periods and then get bored, probably a couple weeks.

Looks like DS2: GOTY Edition with some bonus stuff. Glad I held out on buying it and the Season Pass.

Polygon has an update concerning the Scholar of the First Sin patch for last gen and PC versions of the games. Current gen is still scheduled for a April 7th release.

I'm kinda thinking of doing a theme build through Demons, Dark Souls and Dark Souls 2 in preparation for Bloodborne(which I'm certain my roommate will buy and monopolize the PS4 for a few weeks, meaning I'll be free to use the spare room's PS3 with no worries). I'm thinking something in a mid-armor, axe wielding fire spells build. But that's not the main reason I decided to post.

This is the main reason I decided to post. It's a video VaatiVidya posted a couple days ago of a Dark Souls 2 song someone made. The subject of the song is Lucatiel.

I'm not sure how I feel about that video. Something just does not click right with it. On the other hand I did like Lucatiel and I loved wearing the Mirrah Armor set.

I should pick up Demon Souls for my PS3. I'm still torn on if I want to by a PS4 just for Bloodborne. Stupid console exclusives. I am trying to hold off on buying more consoles I will barely use.

If everyone is raving about it after release that might push me over the edge though.

I would wait for a bit and see if they add Demon's Souls as a digital download after Bloodborne comes out.

I really been meaning to. I just watched some gameplay video, it really is not as dated looking as I expected. The fact that there is another Souls game with 100's of hours of love waiting for me on a system I already own and I have not picked it up is kind of baffling to me.

I'm leveling every class to 15 for no good reason in FFXIV though...

**** it. IT SHALL BE DONE! It's super cheap now as a classic too.

And because thinking about Dark Souls has made me realize how boring and shallow FFXIV is in comparison. I am now re-downloading DS2 to start a new character to tide me over until my Demon Souls gets here from Amazon.

So I made a new toon with the intent of using big weapons, str, and no shield. Something I have tried before but usually end up going back to fast weapons which is my comfort zone. Going to use a crossbow offhand when I am not 2H. I was pleasantly surprised how fast I got summoned for jolly co-op on Pursuer. Was virtually instant. I was also able to find a guy to hold him in place for the ballista my first attempt for myself. People must be playing more in anticipation of Bloodborne like us.

Loving the game again, looking forward to retroing out in Demon Souls, and then I still have Bloodborne waiting. Good times.

Did the game mention any World or Soul Tendency events?
