This is my favorite lightsaber model (of the ones I have seen so far). Seems perfect for a Sage or a Guardian, imo. Very regal, befitting a scholar, diplomat, or more introspective warrior. (I imagine most Sentinels are less interested in philosophy, and likely to treat their swords more as tools than Guardians are).
Second favorite. Works well with anything--love the somewhat ancient feel to it. I particularly like the idea of an Artificer with this blade--just seems perfect for a Jedi that spends his or her time seeking lost treasures, exploring ancient ruins, and using the findings to craft a blade.
All sages can get
this one, and I like it a lot. Seems like a nice blend of natural aesthetics, regal (for diplomatic situations), but still structured to be useful in an actual battle.
Good fit for a Sorcerer--less utilitarian, more ornamental. It's a sign of prestige, not a weapon for battle. Kinda the inverse of the previous one--it's meant to intimidate, and is seen as a tool, not an extension of the self.
And a few of the notable double-bladed ones:
I can't justify not linking the
basic one for Jedi, because I think it's actually one of the best.
A cool one for assassins. Never seen this in game, so no clue how to get it. I wonder if the sword beam will actually go through the center, because that would be badass. I can see it working for a Shadow, too, just not as perfectly. (Found another version--sold by Imperial PVP vendor, plasma blade does not continue through center)
One I like for Shadows. If you like the
Utilitarian look without all the grey metal (which makes it neutral).
What I'd. probably use for an Assassin. I love lightsabers.
