Well, before I had to stop playing the game last year I had finally gotten to the point where I could make darksteel picks as a Blacksmith. I was able to make money by selling the picks to an NPC, even if I was purchasing the materials from the auction house. How is the darksteel pick money making option in FFXI these days? Specifically, on the Ragnarok server.

EDIT: Also, are there any other recips that I can use to make gil from by NPCing the finished product? Either as a Smith or any other craft skill up to level 60.
