Dragon Age looks interesting but... it's not the money but the available time. New girlfriend, day job, busy freelance practice and working on starting a company are all more important than gaming time. I'm down to just a few hours a week. With GW2 coming soon (and to a lesser degree D3), I may as well just putz around in WoW a bit waiting for that stuff rather than purchase another 100+ hour game that I won't have time to get through. Same reason I haven't bought Skyrim and one of the minor reasons SWToR got uninstalled (well, that and horridly soft game reactivity, sh*t pvp and a laughable "endgame").

When are you visiting anyway?

Yep, same girl. Not a gamer, but we have other shared interests and shes much smarter than I am. Which helps. She's awesome.

I moved and will be movIng my toons out of SM mainly because nearly all of my friends there are gone and the folks that are left.... Well, I don't think I mesh with them. Nothing against them just a different tone. Therion and Phezz and some others are back in taint but I'm pretty casual now. Pop on, run some BGs and make a snack.

Coming back to wow for pandamonium ?

Eh, @#%^ that. I'm really only interested in a good MMO or something action/adventure like. Not that I do much in the way of gaming atm.

Yeah yeah, I know. Believe me, I wanted to go, but as per usual with me, money was an issue. I might come back to WoW for MoP, we'll see. I'm going to play around in the beta and see if anything strikes my fancy. I honestly don't know why MMO's aren't doing it for me right now. Shortly after starting meds for ADHD (I got diagnosed back in December, not sure if you knew that or not) I just lost all desire to play them. I stopped playing TOR too, but I was still enjoying that game, which is why I think it's weird. And I wasn't even really playing it like an MMO either, considering I was still leveling. I still enjoy other video games, but not MMO's for some reason. If I don't come back, you have my email and facebook. =) And here too of course.

Yes, its weird and I don't like it.

My theory is because boys are weird.

But so are girls.

It's a good start!

I just had the most ridiculous PC malfunction in the history of PCs. I was so mad when I figured out what was wrong after 3 hours or disassembling, memtesting, and building hybrid pcs, that I almost cried.

That doesn't sound like an issue of girls being weird, that sounds like an issue of her being a closed minded jerk.

But seriously, this is one of the reasons why I like androgynous people. You end up having a lot more in common with them, and it's a lot easier to understand each other. I have practically nothing in common with either a macho dude or a girly girl.

Uh, yeah.


She was actually one of the sweetest girls I've ever met. She just had a really strict Christian upbringing, so she couldn't let go of some things that were in the Bible.

But yeah, definitely closed-minded.
