Questions about Raise I, II, and IIIFollow

I've just gotten level 56, and Raise II with it, so I was wondering what the differences between the three raises are.

For example, I know that Raise III will give back more exp to a level 75 than Raise I. Is this true for all levels? Does anyone know the exact percentages of exp that are given back with each Raise, or do these percentages also depend on the level? Any information about the Raise spells would be very helpful... thanks!

All raises cast on players under level 50 only restore 50% exp that was lost upon dying.

Post 50, Raise II restores 75% and Raise III restores 90%

Okay, thanks a lot! That's all I needed to know.

Also note that after the April update (with all the WHM goodies), all three Raise spells will cost the same 150 MP, with each one casting one second faster than the previous. Meaning? There will never be a reason to cast anything lower than your highest tier Raise spell.

Unless time is an issue and you need to do multiple Raises in succession, yeah

Oh I'm sure certain dynamis shells will find numerous excuses to dole out the raise1s still.

Just a quick note,

/SCH + Haste + Haste gear + celerity will reduce your recast timers for Raises enormously.

I haven't had to do this in Dynamis (primarily because I don't do Dynamis) but there are other timed scenarios I've participated in where people have been willing to accept lower Raises to save time >_> Particularly shoddy Nyzul runs, to name one.

It's worth pointing out that if you're using Celerity, there isn't any point in having Haste of any kind (at least for that one cast), because your recast time is already being halved. It can't get any lower than that, no matter how much Haste/FastCast/whatever you stack.

That is a common misconception. Haste/FastCast DO stack with celerity; it's just that Celerity will bring a normal recast to it's minimun (Half) naturally.
But if you have slow on you, or you're weaked; you can see clearly how they stack.

So yes, Celerity + Haste gear WILL lower your recasts while weaked.

Well yeah, they'll have an effect if you have Slow on you... but why would you be casting Raises with slow on to begin with? That's highly situational (and in most cases, rather stupid).

I don't know for certain how Haste gear interacts with weakness+Celerity though. Just note that the Haste spell does absolutely nothing for a weakened person.

Wasn't saying otherwise.
