Tab - Rotates through targets somewhat clockwise
We all know this one... but to my surprise, not everyone knows that:
Shift+Tab - Rotates through targets in the exact opposite order.
Saved my (friend's) life many times. Hope it's helpful to those who didn't know.

Computers 101: Shift+Tab has the opposite effect as Tab everywhere outside of text editing.

i actually find it quicker to target peopel using the F keys its easy
just use F1-F6 depending on who u need to heal if u need to DoT the mob just press F8 to target the nearest monster for me i find it easier

And one poorly timed ALT+Tab is a great reason to use a windower (or play in windowed mode) if you aren't already.
That's been changed, Alt+Tab will do nothing while in full screen mode.

I've always just targeted with the F keys, unless I have a specific person targeting macro. such as cureV as an emergency for the pld when we fight Faust or any other hard/fast hitting mobs.

Alt+Tab is still in effect... which is silly, considering SE has now sanctioned their own windowed mode *shrug*

This. Outside of blinking, the F keys won't steer you wrong in the case of targeting. For PLing, however, the tab/shift+tab method is still best.
Yes, using the F-keys is fine and all, but if you read the original post, I was referring to 'healers targeting non-party members' such as in power-level/emergency situations.
