I leveled THF and geared it (sans augmented Hecatomb +1). Now I need Thaumas gear and I'll be done with it, I think.

How 2 mine sneaky attacks?

Finally done with WS kill trials. Christ, what a time stink (intentional). The next two stages are easy with a couple friends.


OH, I forgot to mention I fulfilled another long-held goal: Hecatomb Cap(+1, of course) get! I used to always bid 100% of my pts with LS towards it, but it never dropped when we got claim and i was there. Now for augments...

Thaumas body and legs, finished experiences trials on AF2+2 hands and feet ;)

My Meebles group struck gold last night and they let me have Gusterion when it dropped. (Thanks guys!)

I went ahead and changed to THF and took it for a spin. Aside from having one of the highest DPSes without getting into the relic/mythic/empyrean category, it has an additional effect of "Blink."

What this does is proc blink almost every time you hit with the main hand. It looks like a Thief's Knife, but has a cool little gust of wind animation around it any time the Blink procs. When you have a max triple attack build like me, that means that you've essentially got half the benefits of /NIN without having to actually sub ninja. A THF/DNC with shadows? {Yes please.}

I solo'd Kharon as a test last night, then duo'd it with a BLU friend a few more times. Good clean fun and brainless. No counting shadows! No having to smack off Ni to land an Ichi! Between my regen atma, capped evasion, and the blink effect, I could have probably afk'd if I wasn't fighting a monster with drain spikes.

Any way, I've got a new main hand weapon, and if you see this toy drop, you better lot it like it's hot.

Yeah, I think of it as the shadows only really working when you're engaged.

Still, with capped evasion, unless you're fighting a very mean nasty NM, it's not going to matter. Kharon only had about 50% accuracy on me even when Blink wasn't up. And if you're fighting something that mean and nasty, you probably won't be doing it solo on THF.
