Finally got the motivation to camp Sewer Syrup and got a Jelly Ring to complete my -dmg set.

Hey guys, been awhile since I posted. I recently got a perdu blade, which I thought I'd never make it to 2nd lt. I also got a hope torque the day after that. My ninja is about as good as its going to get, save Vbelt/Nsash, and +1 dusk. Oh happy day. :)

Got my haidate Sunday night. TY to my Limbus shell on Bismarck, UltimegaLS and those pick ups. I'll actually jump on nin now.

Small? I don't think so, I've tried to solo Bune. Got him to ~45% and wiped because of TP moves.

Was helping LS mate farm subligar. Eba was up. First couple pulls, nothing fancy, then accidentally aggro Eba. The RNG shoots him, thinking I meant to. He dies. We stay out of aggro range, kill the Fomor (for 2 dark crystals), raise him, and go on about our business.
Another pull, I don't finish the pull but get Eba aggro. I decide screw it, let's go for it. Well, a three man becomes a solo after some nasty Grim Halos wipe them out. I got Eba down to about 17% before I cancelled Ni a little late while casting Ichi. Wiped out the Ichi shadows and promptly died with recast timers sitting on about 30 seconds.
I didn't even want the tunic thing, but I had to give it another shot. Took forever. No drop though.

Made the new Synergy Katana after farming all the new materials. Worst was the Aht Urgahn Brass Ingot. I had to mine the Brass Ore myself.

Haha. Been a while since I was on this part of the forum, but in April I finally got Kikoku. Now I'm augmenting it and 500 metsu kills into the 3rd stage (amorphs).
Finished Amorphs and Aquans.
Moving on to Undead. 1775 more metsu kills to go. It's actually fun when I've got downtime from the abyssea and other ls events.

Ding 60 NIN and 5/6 AF! My current characters highest job. Also, is the NIN equip sticky still pretty relevant for the most part? Last update was 2 years ago and I'm wondering if there should be any major changes around my level. What do you guys think?

Nope nothing changed so far as that guide goes. All the changes are mainly using Pizza instead of sushi on lesser mobs, and still stuck with sushi on the hard ones. Any gear changes will be after 75, from 76-80.
A couple of things that might interest you:
-Virtuoso Belt [lvl 54, acc 12, atk 4] great for Jin, Belladonna NM in E Saruta [s]
-Lava/Kusha Rings [set bonus acc 12, atk 4] Good, but honestly I wouldn't waste your time. I'm 1/2 on Kusha, and seriously 1/50 something on Lava. I pretty much just gave up. You'll be wearing Rajas at one point anyways so its not like they matter, I just like hunting NM's lol.
-That Shikkoku Togi set looks really badass, but its worthless as far using it for any reason lol.
I can't really see anything else until you get past 75+ that's gonna be different in that guide. Grats and welcome to Ninja!

I managed to solo the final batteru of the ToAU storyline on my 99NIN/DNC. May not be much of an accomplishment but it was fun and challenging thanks to that effin' BLU who becomes immune to which ever damage you used most to kill him... and re-raises 3 times... and can 1-shot you with Eyes On Me + 2hr straight after a previous Eyes On Me which used your stun -.-
