I'm returning after about 2 years and want to level my ninja some. I'm in no rush and would like to solo a bit, but have no idea where the best places are. I am currently 37 ninja and can sub pretty much anything.
I thought for sure I could find some guides out there, but they all seem to be very specific and do not necessarily fit my level and job.
I'm assuming some sort of FoV location would suit me best, but would love to know if I am unaware of some great location for this level.

I can't help you with location, but Easy prey mobs doing Grounds of Valour using exp ring would be besy exp and pretty good to immo. Someonelse will suggest a location but is this your first job? do you have any level 75's?
Edit: At 37 i'm guessing any 3 of the zones to Jeuno would work.

Thanks. Someone told me about Ground of Valor and I grabbed a friend and duoed in the nest for an hour or so. I sitll have some charges on an anniversary ring and some kind of empress band that I can't remember how I got (conquest points?). I'm sure there's even better stuff for exp boost that I need to research.
Anyway, the exp was really good comapred to what I remember from back in the day.
My 75 jobs are BST, BLM and RDM. I have DNC to 58 and SMN in the 40s, but I think almost everything else is 37 or less.

Garlaige, Crawler's Nest, and Eldieme are all pretty popular areas to do GoV around that level these days. Hang around there soloing/duoing and if a party/alliance shows up just hop in with them. The pages get up to really good exp after a while, so even if there are 12 of you in the group and you aren't getting a lot per mob, the number of times you will get through pages more than makes up for it.
Also, leaders will more than likely just invite you in those zones presuming you want the best exp/hour rate of exp. Just don't get offended if that happend Like this guy did.
Regarding your 75's - make sure you start abyssea by doing the First couple of quests. Even if you don't want to actually beghin abyssea for another month or 2 its important to get those Trav stones coming in and it is inevitably your future.

Thanks. I did the cut scenes and got a few stones. I traded in a couple of stones and banked 60 minutes of time (not sure if this is helpful or not). I thought I could only build up to 3 stones or something like that.... so I figured the banked minutes might be useful.
I didn't realize the exp from Grounds of Valor built up the longer you continued to do them. That's pretty slick.
