Little help plzFollow

For your new weapon post 75 - look into a Keitonachi+2 to replace your Hagun and keep a close eye on the Masamune and Hirodenatachi as your end game weapon goals for the job from the Trial of Magians

Sam gear progression is pretty straight forward although might be slow at first until you understamd the Abyssea NM system. You will be working initially on the Unkai Armor +1 set. A nice easy(ish) back piece to get, that happens to be the best back piece iirc the Atheling Mantle, I thought it was a 100% drop until I procced Blue 9-10x on it while farming +2 body pieces. Most groups will probably give it away if you turn up to the NM site.

For belt upgrades, the Goading belt is a very nice option but can be annopying to get (again depending on your experiance), i'd say the Bullwhip belt is easier to get and has more haste on it - both are great belts though.

Neck - Unkai Nodowa - drops of a T2 Visions mob thats slightly annoying as its a corse

Rings and earrings are pretty much the same, just have high stat boosts on them now for massive amounts og gil. Y ou will still be using Rajas and Brutal for now.

WS sets are still the same for YGK, just add more STR or DA where possible as upgrades.

You might find pieces of this set you can use in your current TP or WS builds, its all very cheap Perle Hauberk set, you might just want a change of looks and grab all 5 pieces. Very little difference between that set and the set i;m envisioning you in now.



Aim to get relevant Atma's first, join /sh party's if you don't have a ls, make them yourself etc. Get abyssites aswell. It won't be fair on the people you farm with if your not equiped with some basic Atma's and abyssites. First thing you need to do is start Abyssea Then its not worth actually doing anything in there until you have at least 2-3 traverser stones (3 for your first exp group is best as you'll probably be lost and have no conluxes. You can start Trial of the Magians while your waiting. Exp party's are primarily made in /sh. Chances are you';ll go from 75-90 in 1 or 2 party's its that quick.

When you say Keitonachi +2, which one do you mean? +10% WS DMG or another one? I am going to try and do a trial for my brother on his account as a surprise, but I am not sure as to which one I should/could do. I basically only play with my DRG friend, and since you mention the other weapons to be endgame weapon goals I assume those other two Masamune/Hirodenatachi is out of the question for me (Don't have any good gear or atmas, we mostly just play outside of abbyssea together).

EDIT: Looking into the Hiro trials it actually doesn't look too bad, so assuming I could do either, which of the two weapons: Keitonachi +2 and Hirodenatachi +2 is better outside of abyssea?

Ah okay, that clears things up a bit, thanks for the help. Just goes to show what a SAM newbie I am. :)
