And today, I failed once, farmed a second test, and then succeeded with flying colors. I would have won the first time too, but I forgot to use my blink band, and then one of my macros misfired. Bah.

Sleep to 100% TP, Use Blink Band, Switch to normal gear, Engage, Skewer, Icarus Wing, Penta Thrust for skillchain (didn't do as much as had been reported... but oh well), Jump, High Jump, Spirit Surge, Jump, High Jump, Penta Thrust, WIN!
He hit me twice, and his wyvern hit me twice. Because of spirit surge, I left with more hp than I came in with.

Built myself a drg burn on Saturday with a fellow drg in my ls that just joined recently named Arcs. Killed some mamools until the greater collibri camp opened up and then havok ensued. Party set up was X5 drg/mage and 1 sam/war, nice long party that yielded 10 merits would have been ever better but people kept on trying to steal our camp (ie breaking all our chains) but once they saw how little mobs we we're leaving them with they didn't stay too too long. Polearm went from 5/8 to 8/8, so its all capped now and I had 1 left over to put into Crit hits.
Any drgs on kujata that havn't been in a drg burn or just want to be included in the next one send me a shout in game.

I never claimed to be uber. I /know/ I'm undergeared, and a bit gimp. But I'm a pretty casual player, and I do the best I can. It's taken me a couple years to get my first job to this point. And I doubt I'll ever bother to level anything else to 75.

Hmmm, nothing recently. I solo'd my 75, solo'd my test twice when I did it, solo'd my merits... Did a DRG burn Long time ago, nice exp... hmmm, Oh! Soloing the 5-1 Golem and breaking my old damage record. I had done a 1400+ on an IT Colibri when I was 54, I had done 1700+ on this Golem like last week. I'm not sure if it counts though, I'm still trying to break that record on an IT. (I've broken the record on other things, but didn't feel that they counted.) I also started regularly breaking 1k damage, but because of the update, I won't feel satisfied until I regularly break 1.3k at least...

I killed (in a duo >_>) my first sea puks at level 73 yesterday. When my War71 friend died, I kept on killing them until he unweakened, proving that I could solo them :)

Admittedly, that was my second go at Maat, god knows what happened the first time, I think Asuran Fists was in there somewhere after a few crit hits from him >.<
But I beat him with 78 hp left XD Darn lucky I think.

Congratulations!
Went and got my testy with the help of some kind 75's, and then proceeded to beat Maat 1/1 on my first job to 75, DRG. All in the space of two hours and at 67DRG. :D
It was a lot of fun, and i'd heard so many horror stories about Maat that my hands where shaking as i Warped after the fight. As it is the DRG Maat HAS to be the easiest one. My Dragon pretty much solo'd quater of his HP til he cheated and used a TP move. Then i stepped in hit him with Penta.

Made my first self-skillchain today in a party in crawlers nest. The Bluemage died, and when he raised he aggroed another beetle (didn't notice it), the warrior provoked it, and we were looking pretty close to wiping.
Had 130% TP, and i prayed, checked lunaire's tp: 100%!
Disengage, reengage: Double, Surge, Penta, Compression :D
In retrospect i probably should have just done 2 penta thrusts, but too late. The summoner wouldn't have died if i had penta->penta'd though >_< my bad.

I just kinda collected af2 knowing that I would get my drg there eventually. It's slow going, I soloed a LOT after 55 or so. And it sucks. It's fun knowing it can be done. But it sucks.
The multi-drg party though, that's just the cat's pyjamas. All the fun of soloing, with none of the suck of soloing. You can laugh as your wyvern heals you for 200 for the low, low cost of 5mp! and you have PEOPLE YOU CAN RELATE TO right there with you.

Was with Nams when that happened (Grats Nams!), it occured within a Dragoon burn, which was the first time I got invited in one. Balfor and Ketrel were there :)
Got capped XP on DRG (first job out of my 4 level 75s to get it) (Around 42k xp in about 3h?)
Then got a merit, that was spent getting polearm level 2
First Win "Preemptive Strike" in mamool Ja with Nams and Ketrel for 5 assault evaluation points. 1/3 run were succesful only, but we have much better understanding of the do's and don'ts of that place :)

that party was hella fun lianda :D
with the merits i got i boosted staff to level two and still have one merit left over.

Completed my Homam set last nite enough though the last piece I had to get was Helm and I already had Ace's Helm.
Yay for free lotting helm? Least, my PLD can put it to use for DD (or THF if I ever decide to level it to 75... invite rates are so low on THF /cry).
