I don't mean to be rude, but this takes about 10 minutes to look up on ffxiclopedia (or gamerescape) by searching for TP or store TP. I am bored though, so I am also going to answer your question.
http://ffxi.gamerescape.com/wiki/TP Basically, your base TP per hit with no store TP is 13.8 tp per hit.
For a true 5-hit build (a build that will always give 100 tp after 5 hits) you need 45 store TP. Which after 5 hits would literally give you exactly 100 tp. That means that, depending on your weaponskill, you can't swap out store tp gear for damage.
This is fairly easy with /sam, as you get a base of 15 from the subjob, so you just need 30 from there. I haven't played in almost a year, but that was actually possible fairly easily with AF3 +2 Body, Rose Strap, Rajas Ring, +4 stp ring, goading belt, Brutal Earring, and 1 more storetp from any slot of ammo, back, legs, hands, feet, neck, ear, etc. It is even easier now if you have a nyzul Askar +5 head.
For /war, you would probably need that Askar +5 head if you want to do it realistically without sacrificing other important stats.
