Unlocked detonator btw whats a good build for that (No CoP access)
Unlike slug shot, detonator is pretty accurate. Pile on STR and rattack, AGI also and keep a little Racc. You can definitely put far more STR on than slug shot and hit them very consistently.
As for my latest achievement: didn't do it on my COR but it affects my COR and I read this forum fair more often than the SAM forum so...
Parrying 269 FTW! COR skills capped across the board FTW. Of course, with ranged attacks and quick draw kiting, you'd wonder why we need capped parrying.... but once I got over 240 I decided it was something I wanted to go for. Martial master helps a ton. Can reliably get 2-3 skillsups an hour (skill up as in .1 .2 or .3, not skill levels).
Spent most of my time in the tree SAM/DNC with Tomoe. Once I got over 260 and DCs more often than not were worthless, I'd pull an EM or a T and then pull a DC also and kill the DC first while the T/EM continued to attack me. Solves the lack of skillable mobs problem.
264+ i went to rancor and was able to beat the lvl 76 pucks but the 77s were too strong initially. Seriously, these are FAR nastier than the Korrigans in the tree. Decided to pop tacos to increase my D and was able to take out the 77s as well. The room is right next to a zone line so that helps if trouble and you can also zone out DCs until they become Ts.
Other cool thing was hit a 509 QD on cheese rat. First time I've broken 500 so was happy about that. Did it with a pt but will probably get an Iriz pop tonight after work and use her to attempt my first COR solo. Of the 4 I think I can do (her, rat, Chigre, Wulgaru), she's the one i'm most confident about. Edited, Jul 16th 2009 11:33pm by TDGSW
