I think some of this information is speculative. As far as I know, the only dances CHR has been confirmed to effect are the Curing Waltzes. The guide suggests that it affects all dances. I'd suggest mentioning that the Curing Waltzes are the only dances currently known to be affected by CHR.

Thanks, Miel. I overlooked that. It's changed.

Awesome job!!! I subbed MNK up until level 15 or 16 and then switched to BLU. BLU was an awesome sub due to the increased attributes and the fact that with Sigil you can effectively refresh mp and spam BLU spells. I used Blu as sub until 20 where I switched to NIN and have soloed to 31 with that sub. I would have probably done it differently if I had read this first, but /nin works ok and really it all depends on how you play the job. DNC is awesome and very soloable especially if you have soloed another job before. Great job on this guide!!!

Thanks Vigita.

Around the June update I plan on overhauling it a bit, just to make it flow better and update a lot of things. I never thought of DNC/BLU in places where you could get Refresh from Sanction/Sigil. I'll have to add that when I update.

Have fun playing Dancer!

So far this seems to be a good guide, but until you are able to dual wield at 20 as /nin, shouldn't u use hand to hand instead of dagger? (For more tp) I havent really leveled DNC much, but that would just be my thoughts.

Edit: spelling

Later I wept. But not on Warrior. Warriors never cry. I was Ninja.

WAR has access to enough enmity gear and enough hate-inducing JA to aggro baby Jesus.

STEPS: # Lv.1 will give -10%, each one after will add -5%.

Where do you get these numbers?

It conflicts directly with wiki information, and not to mention self-testing and general experience/agreement with other Dancers have agreed that Box step, for one, most certainly does not reduce a total -%30 defense. That would mean that maxed out box step combined with Dia II and Acid bolts should do close to - 50% total defense down.

This is definitely not true.

The wiki atm states a total of -13% (-5% for first step and -2% every step after) for box step and -24 evasion total for quickstep (-8 for first step, -4 eva for every step after), and same for Stutterstep. I am much more inclined to agree with these numbers.

If it is really a total of %30 defense, evasion, and magic eva down, there such be a *much* more noticeable difference in numbers. That, and we should be able to solo mobs much faster.
