I got the vast majority of mine through Amarok as I was working on upgrading up Twashtar. The problem pop item is the Tiger King Hide which can be found in yellow boxes in A-Altepa. You could do that in your spare time. (Admittedly, I did this in a glorious attempt to avoid spending money on those hides. I just farmed the zone for a while and if I got a hide I would D-box it to myself and go back so I had a stockpile.)

The Ironclad in A-Uleguerand can be a massive pain. It is usually best for a single person to fight it at its spawn point whilst being bombed by a WHM, and just have trigger jobs time between swings. In my experience, I'd strongly avoid kiting it as it seems to trigger Mighty Strikes/Invincible.

The Ironclad in A-Grauberg isn't nearly as bad but the same applies. If you want to go the quest route to supplement your body seal intake, try this one. It's very easy: go to #4, activate it, hop to #3, murder the wyverns, get item (quickly, hopefully) then hop back, zone, repeat. No need to spend money on that if you have some patience. The quest in A-Altepa is easily soloable by DNC too. The target NM isn't anything special.

I had next to no luck getting these things to drop from NMs. Got 1 in 5 runs off Amarok, 1 in about 10 runs from the Ironclad, 1 from a lucky Dominion OP, and... the last 7 from soloing wyverns for the repeatable quest. That took like 2 weeks off and on to do. They're easily soloable and the drop rate is prolly better than 1 in 5, but man, that quest is merciless at giving you what you want.

Honestly, so many people are fighting Amarok nowadays to get Orthrus KIs for empyrean dagger/GA that you probably have a decent chance of getting the seals if you just camp around there and ask for DNC seals from the groups that fight Amarok. Most of these groups don't even care for the seals anymore, in my experience; they just hit red and zerg.

Quest for body seals in Grau can go screw itself, have done it 50-60 times and I've gotten 4-6 of every other seal, not a single dnc body...

Just got my first dnc seal from this quest.

Thanks for the advice. I think I will camp Amarok and beg for seals. I spent the morning doing the pursuer's wing route and it sucked. With TH6 I still only managed 3 wings in 5 dominion ops pages. That's a lot of wasted time.

I did Amarok. Yes lots of competition, but personally I didn't find the drop rate all that bad. But I have a static and we needed other seals from him too, so maybe it just didn't seem bad to me. Took I think 5 runs of 5 people, so 25 pops total give or take, to get everyone's seals including mine.

I had 9 Jewels of Ardor way before I had 10 Charis body seals. I fought Amarok and they were by far the most painful seals to get out of the 5 jobs I have completely +1'ed. Amarok was by far the stingiest with DNC seals, and I got my BLM geared and saw two other BLMs get 10/10 seals before I had all of my DNC seals.

I went the pursuers wing route because i also needed almost all the other seals anyway. finished smn and mnk before dnc, and only 6/10 on pld still. Also made decent gil and capped out merits doing this. on DNC/THF with only TH2 i usually earned 2 wings every 2 ops. i would get a wing, turn it in, and get another before i zoned. enter, turn it in, then exit again and repeat. that way i only spent 1/2 the cruor on buffs.

On he bright side you can get these seals while hunting for Orthrus Claws for Thawster, since it seems to be petty good since the CF change. (i just did 10/10 tonight over 6 pop sets.)

Never see Amarok being killed, and if I see any shouts in jeuno, it's always by someone wanting dnc seals, so they are always locked lol.

BLM drops pretty well off the pixie in Grauberg. I got 4 in 6 kills and we didn't have a THF and got BLUscrewed on a couple procs. Kind of a rough fight though, with all the links and hate reset.
