My reason for Red Mage.Follow

I started with Warrior because of its specialty in weaponary. But I usually play as Solo so it's very tough for me (Warrior 8 after 24 hours of playing the game but gaining level after 8 is hard). So I decided to change Red Mage.

With Red Mage, I have my magic to support me and help other players that I see around.

I also, sometime play with a Level 42 Red Mage. This player is from Japan and I'm from California. So, it's hard to play together because of huge time different.

Any way, that Red Mage is not bad at all, 604HP/300MP and she got some good Equipment as well. Also have some on Auction for 13,000s.

And with Convert, she can switch HP and MP to cast a lot of magic....

My Sub is probably going to be Black Mage. Since with Red, I'll have decent support magic, so, I'll need good attack.

From my experience of playing all previous FF games, I must say this; I always start the game depend on Melee but at later of the game, I always depend on Magic. Because of this, I might switch to Black/White later on.

I would chose something other then black mage because sub-job is half of the regular job's level. Since red mage can use black mage spells, you wont get much for being a black mage. I am interested in sub-job as a bard for party, buff.. etc.. red mage is good at that

You're right about the half level on the sub. So I'm still undecided. I might just go to another job later when they're all available to me. There're so many choices.

from what I've heard subing BLM isn't horrible; people sub BLM not for the spells but more for the increased MP one gets from subing BLM.

I can't wait till I'm at a higher level so I can start helping out the guys in my linkshell. It seems like a great class and I can't wait to start using it more effectivly.

Man though, it seems like a really expensive class with all the things you can buy!

aside from added mp and stuff, subbing blm would give you a few spells rdm can't use. Black mages is the most common sub i've seen on high lvl rdm runnnin around in the server so it can't be too bad of an idea.
