Fast cast plus spell cast time reductionFollow

Specifically, I am asking about Carapacho Cuffs (-15% stoneskin) and Seigal Sash (-8% enhancing). Do these cast time reductions stack by addition or by multiplication with fast cast?

additive
.52 fast cast + .15 gloves + .08 belt = .75 = .25 cast time for stoneskin

multiplicative
.48 cast time from fast cast * .85 from gloves * .92 from belt = .375 cast time for stoneskin

Based on eyeballing my stoneskin, the spell appears to consistently go off somewhere between 20-25% on the cast bar. It doesn't see too accurate, so I was wondering if anyone knew for sure.

My take is they're additive. Or more specifically, Fast Cast is every type of casting in the game rolled into one speed-boosting attribute. SE breaking things down into other categories has been a more recent thing, I believe started with Evoliths and carried on more broadly in Abyssea with a mix of things like the BLM trait. Well, scratch that, WHM merits and Cure Clogs came out sooner.

As for your Stoneskin example, adding those numbers would result in Stoneskin casting in 1.75s. Don't trust the cast bar.
