In short WHMs getting alot of goodies :)
can we get Haste? this spell is a key spell for merit pts, most see sch as healers and most dont see us as being able to get a pt slot in a meritpt because we lack haste.
SMN,WHM,RDM,BLU,BRD.. all have haste, and the ability to do haste for others (or -ga's) (did I forget anyone?)
why cant SCH get it? <_<'
could someone send in a petition to SE begging for Haste to be given to SCHs.

You seem to forget that SCH can effectively access and manage two different schools of magic to near-comparable levels of the specialists (and in most cases pre the incoming update, out-do the specialists).
The extensive update to WHM is SE's response to redress the balance between the specialists and the hybrids. So, despite the enormity of the changes coming soon, these updates are focusing on WHM's primary role: healing.

Think about what you're saying. A level 37 WHM sub with Haste will not apply exclusively to SCH. Every job in the game would be able to Haste themselves.

you can have haste but in return you have to give up light arts and sublimation.

I'm not sure you've thought about what you posted... at all.

Perhaps a low level, weak (~5%) haste spell could be given to RDM.
Maybe give it a duration shorter than its recast.

Enspellgas were meant to be your Haste replacement.
Plus if someone else in the pt can Haste (as unlikely for XP as that may be), you can even combine them. How cool is that?

As much as I would like haste I rather stick to being able to play in the usual versatile style than become a haste whore.
