Ding and Bling of Doom: Latest/Greatest AccomplishmentsFollow

This weekend:
Finally got my Gleeman's cape, and rocked out 5 merits for Burst II *5. On Saturday, snagged us a Sandworm, and Doomvoided ourselves to a KA fight. Got to swarm those Knight Crabs fast!

Got an Avalon Shield, which can theoretically allow me to die much, much faster on BLM (but could see some use on my RDM/PLD in campaign, where I like to tank NQs.)

Good times!

Well, My weekend wasnt TOO exciting, but I did get my Fire Obi and another merit into Enfeeb magic skill--one more level and it's capped!

Oh, and I got my final items needed for my HP convert macro and got my Sorcerer's ring--It works good so far, I just have to remember to actually hit the macro! lol

Other than that... I did my laundry. >.> That's an accomplishment, ya?

Got some random Zenith Mitts that were going to be tossed off a Fafnir a couple days ago. I don't need them since I have Morrigan's, but... they're pretty! :)

Hmmm this is kinda a rough one for me since I've been playing my scholar a bit more recently. I'd have to say my most recent blm accomplishments though would be:

---Mahatma Houppelande (mainly got this for sch though, but I've been doing a lot of testing as of recently nuking with it on blm vs kirin and gods)

--- Finally met my goal for gathering ingredients to attemp to HQ zenith mitts (hopefully I'll be able to update with getting them! /prays)

---This isn't so much of an accomplishment for me, but I got a very good ingame friend of mine into our LS, persuaded him to level blm, and helped him get the best gear he possibly could for his blm, and recently made a genie weskit for him. I've been so happy and excited for him that I'm starting to think im more happy for him than he is for himself lolol (over exaggeration, i know he's exstatic!) Go Juanfer!!!

---Other than that, I've only spent time on my blm recently to help train some of our other LS blms on becoming better at soloing, making fast decisions and what decisions to make, and teaching em what i can.



Edit: OH!! almost forgot! I finally got Vicious mufflers for Daggz (my 2nd blm character; I love 2boxing)! Yay!

Got some oracles gloves and avocat pigaches for my blm, also grabbed macha's pigaches with my static for 5/5 macha's. Next up Oracles hat and that int+10 mnd+10 macc+20 staff! Also hopefully going to have a friends LS pop JoP for me (been low manning for popsets of my own), prudece torque yes please :D.

DING! BLM 75 as of 07/03/2008

I finished my Yigit set the other day. hMP FTW!

I kited the sludge for my hat on smn, but I'm still 2 levels away from wearing it.

Dinged 70 BLM... that's about it, really

I dinged BLM 60 last night and got my Moldavite Earring this morning. 1/1 ^^ Thanks to Styvan for his assistance.

Ding 72! Finally! /em throws magic slacks, baron's slops, and a ton of other lowbie stuff to storage mule. Finally finally finally it'll share the gear with my other mage jobs. Yay for space! Till I get igqira and zenith and all that stuff anyways....

Also got suirin obi for killing rats in undersea ruins, but I'm not seeing a huge difference. >.> probably because it was thundersday. If there was more poulterers and less goldsmiths, I'd try blm/sch again, double weather flood should bring some nice numbers (very mp efficient with parsimony), but 3 rats every 16 minutes isn't really enough. :/

And made a signed genie tiara first try. ^_^ Still trying to camp AH for uragnite shell to make signed lappas.

Sharain, Uragnites are easy to kill. I farmed all my Igqira gear materials. THe Uragnites DO have that nasty poison but if you have SS up and /whm you are fine. They hit like cotton ball and have not too much HP. The regen can be a pain if you don't know what your doing either.

Just Get a BIG nuke AM or tier 4 on them when you see them out of their shell, then they will go in to regen; Bio2, Burn, Chock, Shock to halt that. When they come back out hit them with another big nuke (have to time it slightly before they are out but you can still hit even if you don't) and then they are basically dead. Might need one more tier 2 or 3 depending on what spells you used but easy as pie.

Maybe take a group with you and try to fish up Harajnite for the Igqira/Genie Huaraches which are basically a pointless piece but kinda cool to have the set. I killed the ******* 3 times with no drop, but it was an fun fight...

I know, I killed a bunch looking for white sand for aquariums back in the day. But those stingy things won't drop shells for me. -_- Found one in AH though, so signed igqira lappa: O. :) Next to work on that genie weskit...

Also got relic boots and gloves because no one else wanted them. ^_^

I had a fun weekend, dinged 69 and 70 on my black mage. :) Already enjoying my second tier 4 spell. I am really looking forward to being able to cast the remaining tier 4 spells. And later the tier 2 ancient magics too. Go go Merits!

Done with most of the organs for our ice/thund/drk obis
going on a third round for our buddy's , just got his organs for his ice.

Recently joined my EXP Static on BLM (after soloing it all the way to 30), and just dinged 51! May not seem a big deal to all you level 75 meriters , but it is a milestone for me: ELEMENTAL STAVES!!!

Bought a full set of NQ staves with HQ Light and Ice and am tremendously enjoying the boost in damage. Got my first AM too (Freeze) and I'm close to getting the second (Tornado). I still have to learn how to magic burst with AM though (not to mention convince my melee static members to give me the lead in doing skillchains :).

Also camped Profblix and got my Moldavite Earring (1/5), camped Centurio X-I but only got a Mythril ore and an Antican robe (0/2). Got my Wizard Sabots and Gloves and my Eldieme coffer key, but so far haven't been lucky to get my Monastic Coffer key (killed about 150 Orcs so far, but no drop {/cry}).

I'm really looking forward to getting my BLM to 75, merit some and participate in Dynamis with it to get my AFv2. I just hope my static will not kick me once we start fighting colibri {/panic}.

Finally Hqed my genie lappa. Happened on try number 62. Then later that day did 14 weskit synths for a friend. HQed the first and the third one. She kept the first and we split the second.

3 Tier 0 HQs in one day. I guess that balances my karma for my first genie weskit results.

Dinged 73 on Saturday evening in my friends mana burn party. :) Looking forward to getting 75 in the next week or 2 time permitting of course.

Plans ahead for this weekend at least lvl 68 or 69 and Maat fight!

Just got that stingy Ix'drk to drop my vice. Only did four re-raises thankfully. It was a crazy pull that ended up with me depopping a z'dei by stunning it and praying that I could balance distance from it and ix long enough for it to depop. Luckily all sea mobs are quitters.

Just ding'd 73 BLM. Got Fire 4 and Thundaga 3. Sadly I can't think of what Pants or Foot armor I should use now.
