New LS has been asking me to come WAR, so I've dusted it off and started working on making it presentable again. This week's accomplishments:

Random AH gear: Hauberk, Fire Bomblet, Assault Earring, Forager's Mantle. Wow @ how cheap some of this stuff is these days. :)

WAR 76-80 in a good 5h Abyssea, which i tanked most of the time as war/sam xd

Got Ares Legs! God I hate drop rates in Salvage. Now I need to work on MKE for +25 acc WS helm so I can use King's Justice without aggressor up (I drop a ton of acc for str so need that extra acc). Although, at times I have been getting some consistantly higher Raging Rush's than KJ. I noticed this in an abyssea party one night when I started using KJ and was averaging like 400-600 KJ (full tp returns) so I switched to RR and was getting 600-800 w/o bergressor and 900-1100 with bergressor up. Now I had no attack buffs except temp items which I know would help KJ more than RR but has anyone else seen similar results to this?

May have just been a bad night, as I only tried about 7-8 KJ's before I said screw it and full timed RR.

Sounds like lucky streaks with the Random Number Generator and Crit streaks.

Hit WAR 74 last night being the calling leech for an Abyssea party (it's amazing what people will let you do if you offer to help run an alliance, like bring a 68 WAR with uncapped skills and mishmash level 60 gear in to be main assist.)

I'm 8K from 75, and I'm staring at my collection of endgame goodies. I'm an annoying 8K IS away from being able to buy a Perdue Voulge, so lolFortitudeAxe it is. I've been using the Warrior's Arsenal guide (thanks lolGaxe) and I'm pleased that I have a great many of the yellow goodies except for the ones that will be supplanted by Pearle in a few short levels anyway. I think I'm going to drag my warrior set out of storage and use it to get the last 8K so I can wear my kitty pants and other assorted yummies.

I don't even know why I was leveling WAR. SCH was supposed to be my next "to endgame" job. I don't have the time or the resources to make it a really kickass job, and there is no conceivable endgame situation under which I will be allowed to use it, considering I have a TH4 THF (TH5 in Abyssea, soon to be TH6) and an almost Gjallarhorn bard.

But dammit, it's been fun, and I'm looking forward to just relaxing and axing stuff to death once in a while.

Edit: Skilled up to 210 great axe and got level 75 in Cape Terrigan. Kitty pants, brutal earring, and walmart turban awaited me!

Parsed first in our first AV tonight, I was psyched since I'm rarely on WAR and felt like I was getting rusty.

I came back to the game last Wednesday and holy sh*t is it fun again. Currently WAR81. Working on some of that AF3.

Ravager's Cuisses +1. Actually means more to me than the average player, I'd assume. I had taken part in sky randomly for years but never ended up with a pair of Haidate. Now I have something better. :P

Working on finishing WAR merits now. I never thought I'd be able to put the time in to do it, but with the EXP from Abyssea parties, I can see the finish line.

I know my Tier 1s are a little funky, but that's what I personally want to do. Is there such a thing as a cap to Double Attack?

Warrior af3 legs +1 finally. Trying to justify losing 15dex... but in abyssea I dont think it matters much. FINALLY finished merits I had already merited other combat merits and I didnt want to take them away until ai had already used merit in every other freakin category. War is complete with 7/8hp ( 1mp merit for rdm.. ) 4/4 Crit rate 5/5 Str 8/8 Gaxe 5/5 Zerk 5/5 DA 5/5 Warriors charge 5/5 Tomohawk. Fells good. Also! getting 10 merits in an hour and a half fell cleaving with 2 other people rocks. GO WARRIOR!

I basically quit shortly after Midgardsormr fused with Quetzalcoatl, since I wanted to quit before college. Now that I've actually adjusted, I feel like I could easily handle it again. However, my token has gone MIA and it's probably lost for good. Going on intuition, I am pretty much boned. Is this true?

More importantly, what am I missing?

If rune chopper's still useful, then you could try that. If the weapons/armor landscape has drastically changed, then... idklol.

Just duo'd Charybdis as War/blu while dual boxing my wifes Rdm/whm. Was quite fun and finally got myself a Joyeuse to help skill up sword and then play around with every once in awhile.
