Should I get SC or KJ first?Follow

Hiya, quick question:

Freshly 75 after grinding Bostaunieaux for a while. Time to do some heavy skilling up, and I'd like to work on my unlockable WS on the side. I have floor 100nyzul+the GA for unlocking King's Justice, and I can also grab the axe of trials for Steel Cyclone. For completion's sake, I'd like to have both eventually, but is one far more useful than the other in the short term? Will either replace Raging Rush for my descent into Abyssea xp parties on the push to 90?

Thanks for your input! I've been out of the loop for a while and don't know nothin' about nothin'. Do we even know if levels 91-99 will take place outside Abyssea, which means no atma, which means the priorities are about to change again? I wonder if I should wait to do a magian axe until the next update~

You should get Steel Cyclone first because it is useful in Abyssea for Blue procs, which are somewhat rare compared to red procs, but it has a use, whereas King's Justice has no use at all in Abyssea.

For damage, use Raging Rush no matter what.

With the increase to crit hit damage through traits (+8%) and AF3+2 feet (+10%), Raging Rush should beat King's Justice everywhere. Unless you have an insane amount of str/attack (probably non-achievable levels with current gear) I just cant see KJ beating RR outside abyssea. The only reason to get KJ at this point is if you need to be able to cause Light SC's (Ukko's is better, but I guess if you want something quick) or you could use it when you two hour as then it will outdo RR due to its 50% str mod vs 35% for RR.

KJ's still the #1 2hour WS, since every ws is a crit WS with MS up, and KJ has a damage increase TP mod with a better STR mod and fTP. That is, of course, completely ignoring Ukko's Fury for those that have it, since I know absolutely nothing about how it competes, and megatron's torment if you're a REAL warrior, like gaxey was.

Though, I guess if you're in a low-acc scenario, SC might fair equal or better than KJ, but once you're capped at 90, there's no such thing as a low-acc scenario outside of nms with super-potent blind/flash aura/spam, so I guess that's kind of a moot point.

Steel Cyclone still looks cooler, though.
