So I am trying to do a cleave build. Was wondering what atma's every one thinks are the best. Ive read down some and its hit or miss on which ones. Anyone mind telling me your suggestions and about how much damage your pushing out. ?
I usually cleave in my normal Amtas (RR/SS/AoA) just so I can move from one thing to another. Off the top of my head the "best" setup would be something like Griffon Claw/VV/AoA. I havn't actually tried that comba, but 2Handed WS Damage up, oodles of STR and a lil bit of regain sounds good.
I guess I could elaborate and say that I am pretty much doing this for gold chest farming. I like that suggestion and will try that out. Any others?
My normal atmas for Fell Cleave, or anything, are: Razed Ruins, Voracious Violet. I vary the third depending on how I feel because they all have proven to be about equal in terms of producing the result I want. Third is typically Stout Arm or Apocalypse.
These give me averages from 900-4K (hit a 5K 2 nights ago, the last time I did a Fell Cleave) depending on berserk up down, my general laziness in switching to WS set, Might Strikes up/down, mobs running out of range due to positioning issues or type of mobs (some of them stay put, others tend to swarm...)
What are you planning on cleaving?

Probably bats to start my glovoid shells.
If you're not on Carbuncle, I'd recommend Couerls after building lights, as they do not give Ruby and they are much less evasive than bats.
If you're on Carbuncle, bats are great!

Also, WAR can Aeloian Edge and Cataclysm if you wanna amber on the mini Sandworms. I have heard of getting 8-10 of the chunky bastards grouped up and using either of the above to kill em all.

No worries. Though it does require a whole new set of Atmas and gear to make it work well. While you should have most if not all of the gear/atmas to Fell Cleave at a good rate.
