You know you've been a PLD too long when:
-Every time you have a NIN or WAR/NIN in the same party as you, you make it your first priority to take all the hate from him/her.
-You level all your jobs to 30 or so, except for NIN, because you think they're worthless.
-You feel utterly ashamed if you ever lose the hate: even if it's from benediction.
-You feel a surge of satisfaction everytime the THF ends a skillchain on SATA Viper Bite, and the mob doesn't even glance at him.
-At levels 20-40, you're baffled whenever you don't get an invite within the first 30 minutes of seeking.
-You find yourself searching for undead NMs that you can slaughter.
-You buy Iron Musketeer's armor at level 30.
-You carry your AF sword around for 15 levels, even though you don't need it until 40.
-You sub WHM in order to PL someone, and try to Provoke it when they call for help... Several times in a row, but to no avail.
-You want to quit a party because you're not the main tank... Even as a WAR.
-You have a list of all the equipment you're going to buy for the next 20 levels.
-You find yourself oddly drawn to this forum, even if it applies to you solely because you have a PLD main.
-You're excited that you've been a PLD for far too long.
But that last one's not a bad thing, at all. Paladin Pride!
If nothing is greater than eternal happines,
and a ham sandwich is better than nothing,
then it can be logically inferred that a ham sandwich is better than eternal happiness.
