Forgive me if this is a rehashed question, but I thought this would most certainly be the best place to ask.
In a rare stroke of luck, I acquired a Resentment Cape yesterday. I was just wondering if someone could confirm a few things for me:
1 - The MDT-5% is always active in Sea, assuming you have Signet.
2 - Does the MDT-5% ever work in Aht Urghan areas?
3 - Does the MDT-5% work in the past areas at all?

Fynlar is correct. Always active in Sea, Limbus, and Dynamis, never in aht urghan or the past.

Dont be, its awesome for places where it does work, and provided you have the right gear, you can hit your 25% mark and still keep your weapon equipped, w/o worry of death.
When it doesnt work, IR lance and lamia+1 are not only cheap, but also a better combo provided you dont need the TP.
Oh definitely. It's an excellent piece, no doubt; I have Lamia Mantle +1 when the effect isn't up too, so I'll still have some protection from magic damage in whatever situation.
I was hoping I could make more extensive use of it in the past, for example. I've been doing a lot of soloing in the beastmen strongholds (which, by the way, have really made me appreciate the value of PDT and MDT sets), so I was hoping it would help me reach that 25% mark in a few more contexts.
Well, actually it would have to be a little higher than that because I only have Shell IV when soloing...!
But you're right, Hito. It should allow me to swap some gear around because I can hit the MDT cap more easily (when it's working!). Thanks! :D

Also, if you went 1/1 on this cape I hate you. I went 1/11 over three weeks of camping against on/off competition. I don't know anyone with a record worse than mine, and I hardly ever even use this cape. Although I suppose I might once I start leveling a tank job...

im like 3/4 for myself and friends lol. i thought the drop rate was high. then again i pretty much only camp nms with TH2-4. Might have helped some lol

Just want to amend this statement slightly (yes, it's lame to quote myself, but whatever). It's always active in those areas as long as you have signet. Important to remember that.

Had a THF for most of my kills. Thankfully this THF was/is an Aussie and was actually awake during most of the bullsh*t times I had to wake up to camp that bastard.
