Guardian trait kick in during level sync?Follow

#1 Jul 21 2009 at 12:20 PM Rating: Decent
Hello fellow paladins, I tried searching alla and the wiki for this info, but couldnt find any solid answers so Im asking you all about Guardian. If I merit it, will it carry over during level sync? Like, if I were to sync from 75 to lv 60 for example. I know JAs like Chivalry dont carry down, but I figured maybe Guardian, because its a Passive Job Trait? What do you all think? Any tested info or facts would greatly be appreciated. thanks :)

No.

No merits kick in while synced except stuff like combat merits and HP.

Specifically, if it's a job related merit, you won't see it.

Every other merit (other category, stats, hp/mp, and weapon merits) gets boosted at the rate of one merit kicking in for every 10 levels up to 50, where it then kicks in at every 5 levels until it caps at 8 at 65.

So, you get one merit applied at 10-19, 2 at 20-29, 3 at 30-39, 4 at 40-49, 5 at 50-54, 6 at 55-59, 7 at 60-64, and finally, 8 at 65-75.

I had one day of withdrawals on the 2nd. Fortunately, I got incredibly sick and vanished from the real world for 5 days (yay for long weekends!). When I got back home that first day after work, I realized... I didn't even miss the game. I'm enjoying my free time at the moment. Who knows when I'll get the longing to get back onto the game.

At least I'm still lurking here and there, though. XD

That's cool, I'm glad it's working for you.

The first and only time that I've seriously quit, beyond just taking a few days off, I was able to get some clarity and put things into perspective, so I'm able to play now with a much different mindset than I had back then. If I feel that I'm losing sight of that, I take a step back and remember that, while fun, everything here beyond the friendships won't matter in a few years.
