Pld has received many buffs over the years that it'd be hard to actually lose this fight. If you want, take a look at this really old pld maat vid on youtube to see what you're in for: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uRNT5nu-D90 (I link this one because it was an old friend's fight and she really stomped maat; also I'm in there lol!).

Don't need anything special at all, and this was just after the shield blocking change, before sentinel was made a mini-invinc, and on a server that doesn't exist anymore Smiley: frown.

You'll have an easy time, just go in there and beat him up.

Good luck!

Just for the record, I didn't bother skilling up. Went in there shortly after hitting 70 and walked out 8:49 later victorious. The only reason it took me that long is because he flashed me just as I was getting set to use Vorpal Blade, and hit him for a grand total of 89 damage. It was said at the time that four Vorpal Blades would usually be enough to finish him, and Maat flashing me made it take five.

Get a few hi potions (maybe three or four), two yagudo drinks (use one when you cast protect/shell), one persikos au lait (will last whole fight; gives regen), a meat mithkabob, and maybe an icarus wing for a quick opening/ending ws (just keep in mind he will cast flash). Should be cheap.

If you watched the vid, Kira didn't use too much stuff, though used sushi because her sword skill was low.

Nowadays, this might even be slight overkill. If you're really concerned though, carbonara instead of a mithkabob would be a nice boost to this setup. It just gives you more room for error.
