Also, got drk upgrade items already? ; ; I only ended up with 1 piece of AF+1 (hands) over that entire horrible 2 years of limbus, sware that DRK AF items no longer exist (since blu/cor/pup came out.. not to mention sch/dnc ; ;).

My friend who had been in ls for about 3 weeks had more AF+1 pieces than I did, in 2 years D: Well, I only ended up with 2.

DRK 50 and started AF questing, and also working on Parade Gorget items for synthetis :P

AF+1 feet mine and AF hands done, also completed getting my slivers for Hollow earring :P(war,sam,nin and drk will benefit from it) and 1|1 Parade gorget :P Also ready for the AF helm fight, just need a few friends to tag along ftw :P And got my temenos AF+1 item(only missing apollyon now) toward my 2nd upgrade(hands) :P Gloom Breastplate mine and GS skill 200, scythe 202 :P

here's a first! we kicked our first members today. one liberal application of NOOB-X and got rid of 4 dumbasses ~

WALLOTEXTALERT! we didn't actually get to kick them, they sorta left before we could. and it turns out we only lost 2 shortbus kids. explanation below, and the tltr version is at the very end.

well, our LS has been suffering some membership problems. we're in a whacked out timeslot (we run from like 11 am to 4 or 5 pm EST, which starts 8 pm for us in afghanland) and have had a hard time w/ getting regular members. we had to take some folks on we wouldn't have normally wanted to bother with, but figured hey, get 'em and train 'em while they're young before they learn any bad habits. we didn't really mind running a couple of noobs through ZMs, it just takes an afternoon (i got really good at it now >.>) and we want to run my gf's alt through CoP anyway.

well, turns out it was a bad idea. one of them claims he ran a guild on WoW for three years, and while was utterly ignorant of every facet of FF (him: 'no seriously DW is great on drk from 55-60!' me: 'dude. you're @#%^ing 65. go skillup scythe.') had a problem listening, following basic directions and expected to have his hand held through everything. his friend joined with him. now over the last month we got these two retards sky, coached them into beating maat (and farmed more testimonies than i care to remember b/c neither of them would @#%^in listen at first) the friend at least seemed to be coming along ok, did his first stunlock on suzaku and while it was messy, there were no deaths. so, some skillgrowth, everyone's happy. the drk i was trying to mentor some, because DW drk is an abomination that must be stamped out, like cancer or the rosie o'donnel show.

except member #1 has a serious personality conflict with one of our regular (and actually skilled, useful) members so uses any excuse to exacerbate things. and runs his mouth constantly about 'why don't we do this? why do we do that? i'd do it this way' etc. i'm not the most patient mother@#%^er in the world but we tried to show dumbsh*t the way things work in FF. not really much into listening, this one.

or taking a hint. because today while i was updating to service pack 2 on my gaming rig (it's having some issues atm and i'm not happy w/ it), my gf and leader of the shell is logging on and taking stock of our attendance for our scheduled dynamis run. our two resdient short bus kids (we've taken to calling them the venture brothers: they're that stupid) start giving her sh*t about inviting thier noob pld + blu friend.

her: we dont need another pld, we have 6. and blu brings us nothing.

them: we don't have enough people for the run tonight, he'd be extra damage and we need people.

her: we're full, sunday's just not a good day for everyone to make. we don't need another pld. he doesn't have sea or sky, and anything we'd want a blu for, we already HAVE a well geared blu that has access and knows what he's doing.

them: but blah blah blah blah blah blah

this continues, but i dont notice b/c i've got my back turned and am trying to get logged in. so by the time i actually get logged in, she's PISSED because hank and dean won't shut the @#%^ up about it. so i get on and briefly try to reason with them.

very briefly. finally end up giving them the advice to shut the hell up, and try running thier own group if they know so much. to which i get BUT I'VE RUN A WOW GUILD FOR 3 YEARS again. whatever.

so, dynamis doesn't make tonight. kind of annoyed, doing it just once a week is sorta gay. so we decide to do ANNM, the one with the tigers. new blm on crowd control, he gets spooned and Dean (supposed to be backup sleeper) fails hardcore and we wipe. well after recovery, they drop off LS. no big deal, events were sort of a wash tonight anyway. then my gf happens to pass by one of them and asks a question in /tell. gets the *crickets* response. so, she asks the other brother, and WHOOSH gets this tirade about how sh*tty leaders we are, how we need to listen to our members, blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. ends with the expected 'have fun with your fail LS you loosers btw we're taking two other guys with us.'

we had a small LS party that all our noobs were gone. however, it was short lived as we found out the other 2 noobs were like 'eh, i dunno wtf he's talking about all we did was find a static for ZM missions...' which made us very happy. i wasn't looking forward to doing that sh*t for a 4th week in a row. kudos for taking the initiative to get it done themselves, instead of needing thier hands held like Hank and Dean.

they left the shell after getting sky, a. head, and n. feet (the n feet which will never, ever get uncursed because the dumbass is too cheap. you should have heard the 'wait, i'm supposed to make a WS macro to put these on??' conversation).

tltr version: we had morons we tried to help. i do this because i like good karma. i pick up turtles off the road for the same reasons. they wouldn't stop being retards, and left before my unholy wrath could descend. we had a small party afterwards.
