Hunting ShoggothFollow

What is the best zone to hunt the shoggoth. I tried popping him in N Gustaberg but the Lamprey Lord spawned. Any help will be appreciated.

You'll have the issue with Lamprey Lord regardless of the zone. In all 4 zones that Shoggoth can spawn in, Lamprey Lord can also spawn. If you don't want to kill Lamprey Lord, it helps to have a friend who also has the proper abyssite. If you spawn Lamprey Lord, have your pet keep the NM busy while your friend kneels to check for the presence of Shoggoth. Zone Lamprey Lord while your friend tracks down Shoggoth's location.

Present day Pashhow is the easiest zone, since you don't have to dodge aggro from EP mobs. Present day N. Gustaberg is a little annoying due to the cliff that separates the two sides of the zone (you could bring some flowers with you to use the mandy warp though).
