Falling short of that, a JA that lets you select an alli member and have the song's epicenter be there (on their PT in the Alli). Falling short of that, a JA that lets you set the epicenter of the song on the selected PT member. Like pianissimo, but without the obvious drawbacks.
While broken, it's exactly what BRD needs to be worthwhile to bring in today's events. I'd prefer polite discussion over flaming and anonymous ratedowns if at all possible.

A JA that allows you to target someone in the alliance (other than in your party) similar to Pianissimo would be way cool. I don't think it would cut out brd rotations (which I just did for the first time last week) because they want 4 songs on everyone. But it would help if you weren't in the main party to give songs to the tank.

Anyways, I'm internally debating if the playstyle of the times (lowman, up to like 2 full parties) warrants changing the fundamental way a job has worked. Hasn't the whole 'the tank pt gets superpowers, the rest are expendable' style of play gotten old? It can't feel good for newbies to be told that they don't warrant a good pt spot. I just want to share the love!

There is a musical opposite to Pianissimo, which is Sforzando. Sforzando is playing a sudden, sharp note, a hard strking of the note in question. I would support a Sforzando /ja for bard, give it alliance wide effects, full strength, half duration, shared timer with Pianimisso, cannot be used with Tenuto (like Pianissimo), stacks with Marcato in whatever way Pianissimo will be able to.
It's just an idea.
