The first album I ever bought for myself was Beastie Boys License to Ill on cassette in 1985 or so. And high school music was Iron Maiden and Slayer. You punks need to get off my lawn.

The first album I ever bought for myself was The Beatles White Album on LP in 1976 or so. And high school music was Iron Maiden and Pink Floyd. You, punks, need to get off my lawn. Smiley: mad

If you follow the highway from Strasburg south into South Dakota, the first town you hit is Herried, SD. That was the home of my paternal grandparents.

Bah, you sodaks... I shouldn't say anything considering my entire family on my dad's side is the entire town of Isabel.

Actually my entire dislike of SD stems from the fact in 2007 I played against Sioux Falls in the first round of the playoffs in football and for that season we were still the only team who scored 14 points or more on them. That and I always enjoyed absolutely sh*t stomping on Mines.

I do suppose, it is pretty close to Iowa...

I also whooped up on Dakota State as well and lost to Black Hills in one of the most heart wrenching losses I ever played through. One of those last minute games that almost dashed the play off hopes.

This was when BHS was still NAIA and still had that incredibly phenom of a tight end that end up playing for the Packers. Hell I think they were ranked in the top 25 in the nation as long as JC was that year.
