I looked out my door today and there is a huge spider web, the spider who spun said web is huge. I would kill it with fire if it wasn't fact that I don't use the door more than 2x a year and it seems to have disposed of the carcasses of many birds who like to **** on my car.

Can this be a bijou thread now?

How does one do a screenshot in Firefox? I meant to do one yesterday when the first six threads were all "mine". DAMMIT

Yeah, well, I never have cause to do that outside of EQ and that's "-" on the keypad.

Thanks, though!! Green arrows and all that!

YUP...
The house has multiple entrances and we rarely use the front door as there are like 20 steps and a path to get to it, Easier to use the "side" door, But I do like the thought of wall crawling my way in and out of house on daily basis.

There are a couple of species of spiders that can eat birds I think. If I recall correctly one or two south American spiders can and at least one of them is dangerous to humans but the most well known one is the Golden Orb Spider that Shaow is so kind to hide behind a spoilertag. It's related to your ordinary orb spinner and harmless to humans, they just get really big.

I've personally seen wolf spiders with leg spans easily exceeding six inches sporting main bodies roughly the size of an silver dollar (not counting the fangs, which are impressive).

I'm told Montana grows 'em big like that and are known colloqially as...of course...bird spiders.

Seems cool. I once held a tarantula but the biggest spiders that occur naturally 'round here get to a maximum of 3 inches including legs.

It has been awhile since we had a good spider thread in honor of Kao.

It is good to know that spiders are effective dragon repellant.
