ExtraLife just announced on its Twitter that it's getting DDoS'd during its campaign to raise donations for SickKids Hospitals...

...

Like what Wil Wheaton said, hopefully it's just that data center that's drawing the hate. Maybe it also hosts the Westboro Baptist Church hosts there too.

Watched a bunch of the RT 25-hour stream (mostly just had it on as background noise). They started at around $20k and finished at over $180k. Additionally, they were selling posters for $10 each on their site of which all the proceeds are to be donated. They sold over 14000 posters. RT CEO Matt Hullum also designated a 15-minute window during which he'd match any donations made, which resulted in a $20k+ donation from him. I'm not sure if that donation is part of the $180k or not. Pretty cool event, either way.
