#34 here. That's either a terrible number to have or an awesome number, depending on one's exposure to 4chan and tolerance for things which should not be seen by human eyes.

No major loot. My husband is getting my degree framed. I dreamed that he gave me a guinea pig, too, a cute orange and white one I named Barnabas. I don't know why I dreamed this. I don't actually want a guinea pig, and if I got one the cats would eat it.

A coworker got me a nice card that made me ridiculously happy.

We're going to my favorite gastro pub tonight and I am going to order the most expensive steak off the menu instead of the usual hamburger.

And tomorrow I have my wisdom teeth taken out.

Ugh, wisdom teeth removal is nasty. The fortunate thing being mouth/teeth stuff heals quick and they'll probably give you good drugs - use them liberally.

Happy Birthday - you're another year better. Smiley: flowers

Happy B'Day! Are you going to post 34 of yourself?

Aren't you not supposed to eat anything at least 12 hours before they give you anesthetic so you don't get nauseous and puke everywhere?

The drugs are a lie, use the teabags.

Not getting anesthetic. Just nitro. It's only one upper tooth coming out, and it's already out of the bone. My dentist is going to slit the gum open and just yank 'er out that way. Bottom ones are staying in. (The other one upper one fully erupted and replaced a molar that had been extracted a few years back in a nice show of evolutionary existence.)

I'm getting my cake and beer in today, though.

As someone who, at 35, has had all of my bottom teeth pulled out, and a few of my top teeth... I sympathize. However.. Nothing feels as good as when the ones causing pain are gone. Basically you are getting the best birthday present ever!!

Thank you for all the well wishes.

Up to 9 confirmed for dinner today. Yay! And someone got me a JCP gift card when I'm not expecting any presents from my friends (since I make more money than all of them these days.)

Is that relevant for giving gifts?

They're all too poor to afford gifts. Smiley: lol Even the ones that work. Like, one couple's hot water heater blew up last week and they can't even afford the labor to have a professional install it - they're gonna attempt it themselves.

I also didn't ask anyone for anything.

Happy birthday. Ignore the others telling you how horrible getting wisdom teeth out is. I had 2 taken out at the same time, took the dentist all of 5 minutes once I was prepped. Only needed over the counter Tylonel to deal with the "pain". Not everyone has major issues with wisdom teeth. Some of us are awesome and have no issues.

My dentist doesn't think this is going to be too bad. It's already mostly out of the bone and lurking just below the surface, where it has rammed into the tooth in front of it (and that's the only think preventing it from erupting through the gum to.)

So she is going to numb me up, slice open the gum, yank a bit, sew it shut, and call it a day. No cutting through bone or anything. She said if she felt she couldn't handle it, she'd send me out to an oral surgeon.

My wisdom teeth came in happily and without issues, which is great. IT'd be really weird having one less set of teeth.

Terrapin's Moo Hoo Chcolatey Milk Stout came in second only to that amazing AMAZING filet mignon I had at Chops & Hops.
