I suggest that they put a moogle in every zone specifically for changing jobs. I think it should be in a random spot in every zone.

Cant do that i'm afraid. Changing jobs resets all job abilities (except 2hours) and restores all HP and MP. Cant have a bunch of people camping around the moogle, change subs or something similar everytime their MP runs out. Or infinitely riding spells and job abilities that were supposed to have 10~15 minute recast times due to their devastating effects.

A bunch of blackmages could cast Meteor every 5 seconds then without waiting for Elemental Seal or spell recast. Rangers scavenge spamming in important zones. Thieves stealing every couple of seconds.

Right now, with all the options for warping back and forth to your moghouse and/or a town scattered all over (FoV/GoV books), there's really no need to further ease things like this up.

I cant honestly think of any good reason why someone would need to change their job or subjob in the field when they can warp to their moghouse and back from anywhere in a matter of minutes if not seconds.

This is just so that we dont have to go all the way home to change jobs when I can use whm to teleport somewhere then go change job in the zone to the one I want ect...

they got teleport rings for that. and it would be broken having moogles all over the zones. we all ready got so many ways of warping. tele etc. do we really need to have moogle in every zone too?

Alternative: Place a moogle in Abyssea for dumping merits. Or, just let us expend merits realtime, anywhere.

Only reason I can see why you'd want a moogle anymore, for all the reasons already posted which the OP just blithely ignores.

I'd rather instant warp scrolls stack to 12 or 99.

If nothing else, maybe they could make a "Moogle Cape." 24 hour cooldown enchantment to summon a moogle who sticks around long enough for one job/subjob change (without resetting timers or hp/mp.) I can see it be useful in odd occasions.

Too be fair you shouldnt need a moogle to change jobs. You should be able to change jobs at any time out of combat. This wouldnt fill your mp/hp. If anything they would scale. If you have 40% mana and you switch jobs youw youll have 40% mana on the new job. It would clear all buffs off you except for level sync.

This happens in other games and doesn't seem to break any content. But there's the problem of FFXI not seeming to have a difference between in and out of combat when it comes to abilities able to be used. (Can you use a chocobo whistle when in combat?)

I like the idea of a moogle cape too.
