I'm coming back to FFXI once again, as I'm sure many of us have over the last several years, and am wanting to relive some of that nostalgia even if it's in the littlest way and only lasts a short time. I understand that the leveling is washed out (zomg-just do aby *enter derp face here*) and its a breeze to get to 80+...

With that said and back on topic, I'd love to find several like minded players and do old school parties and events,(all the camps are empty anyway) try to do a lot of the content again and get a nice group of like-minded people together to complete things with. Even low man old ToAU content, Sky, Sea, run through CoP, ZM.

Mini-Rant

The problem I've been running into is that the other MMO's Aion, EQ2, WoW, Rift and such, it ends up being a solo experience in an MMO world until mid to upper level with a few exceptions. The FFXI I remember and love had me pting around level 10-12, with what used to be a slower progression. Gusgen mines is not pting...
Sorry about the mini-rant. But I feel that it is a fundamental issue that any FFXI player can relate to who was part of the game +/- a few years around the 2005 era.

Me and Ayk are planning on running through Bastok's mission, though we have players from every city currently.

Are you guys still forming a linkshell? I've been looking for a social shell since I'm not on enough to have an endgame shell, and I really miss doing old content. Plus it's just nice to have other people to talk to.

Hi, was wondering if i could join your ls it seems like you are of same mind as myself and have been without an ls now for the past couple days. I did have an ls but it alsways seemed to be the same people grouping up and not really inviting anyone else to come along.
