My friend plays ff11 on this server and once my new comp arrives i'll be able too play and I was wondering are there any pvp servers and if there are is this bahamut one of them or is the whole game pvp where you can go up and just hit someone?

Ahh the breakfast thing, it wasn't even about the yolk I like the yolk really, it's just that there's always been alot of tention between Lois and Me. And it's not that I want to kill her it's just that, I don't want her to be alive anymore. Sometimes I wonder if all women are this difficult, but then I think to myself, wouldn't it be marvelous if I turned out to be a homosexual?
The only PVP in all of FFXI is the ballista game and its a bit different than what your thinking. I dont play it so I cant give you the best Idea of how it works.

I absolutely adore Ballista the PvP option in FFXI. It keeps PKing out of most farming/Levelling situations. Admittedly people can MPK and it's a real drag. The only thing I find lacking in FFXI is no 1 vs. 1 PvP. Getting a 1 on 1 fight in Ballista is difficult.
I have very little experience with Ballista but the NA player population doesn't seem to get in to it very much, which makes it difficult to learn. It really is a must try event. There is a strange satisfaction derived from killing a friend from your LS or someone you had a really good time partying with the other day. I have not yet had the opportunity to take on a player the PO'd me.
In closing, get your license. It's really easy and the entrance fee isn't so overpriced as to be a bank breaker. And if you win you walk away with some gil.

I played Ballista alot, but then I got to wrapped up in constant leveling and farming.
It was a lot of fun, although it can be hard with all the Ninja and Ninja sub characters and their utsusemi...
Its a good way to make friends as well. I met friends there.
