Just had a look in my storage space in WinD, I still have my first LS pearl, erika. Umm.. you folks are supposed to go 'Awwww...' ahh the good old days, when most people over level 20 didn't speak english too well.
So how many sentimentalists do we have here? Still got your first pearl? *gasp* you didn't throw it away did you?

That story made me a little sad too. @_@ I'm still building my first LS! ^^ Almost got a static party formed out of it, and we're all pretty good friends. Then there's the random members that come and go after laughing at us. /waves to Lufiani.

I can truly relate to this story on many levels. When i first got FFXI i met a Hume (F) in La Theine and we became good friends, PT'd alot together until, well we got to Jeuno. We formed a LS together, Venthal, Yunnie, Ephimehnt. Picked up many friends along the way and as the race for uber began the egos flared on some people and it pushed many of us to leave the LS. Quite sad that I lost a few friends over something like "levels"
